  1. EDIT.. darn autocorrect. ".....off excursionbuses to reduce their exposure...."
  2. Yes, the CEO was onboard but this was also the special 30th Anniversary Reinion Cruise. Special all-around.
  3. I think they have been keeping other crewmembers off excursion buses towels reduce their exposure to covid and other illnesses.
  4. @macbest would be impossible to send someone from Destinations on every tour group departure with only 3 or 4 crew members in that department onboard the ship at any one time.
  5. You don't suppose you were "told" this to garner extra tips? I cannot imagine any of those folks agreeing to a work contract with those conditions.
  6. And you are "encouraged" to add a gratuity on the fill-in-rhe-blank TIP line. 🙄
  7. @Philly Kate use the infinity pool aft of the spa - lightly heated and hardly used so you can easily walk in the pool and do other exercises, too. I am 5'6" and have no problem doing so.
  8. So sorry to hear this. When were you supposed to join the ship? Best wishes for a quick recovery.
  9. We just disembarked Voyager last Saturday after a B2B. Enjoyed many wonderful P7 dinners with Darle. Surprised about the crab legs as they were on the menu at that time IIRC. Love your memory-inducing photos....but how the heck did you manage to enjoy all those choices at one meal? Yeah, jealous, as I can usually finish just 1 starter, main, and a side or 2 (steamed mushrooms and asparagus). Love your wine choice- we were gifted a case of it for Christmas a couple of years ago. Mmmmmm.
  10. @macbest try the R Collection Cab or Red Blend....or the Sterling Cab. We enjoyed them on the segment immediately prior to yours.
  11. I don't think they get the same status as it depends on nights sailed. A newbie traveling in the same suite as a Platinum would not be entitled to the same SSS perks such as complimentary Custom Air, for example. But as they will share a PH they are both entitled to the perks that are part of that suite level.
  12. WOW...if you were on Regent you (the covid-positive) would be relocated to a quarantine suite outfitted with special HEPA filters and your non-covid-positive suitemate would stay in the original suite (with daily testing and free run of the ship if constantly negative) UNLESS you decide to stay together. Then both of you would be moved to a quarantine suite and stay put until your quarantine time is up. We have 2 sets of friends who experienced these actions on Mariner earlier this year.
  13. We have been on board since 7/3 and for us - the internet has been spotty at best. Thank heaven for Kushal, the internet manager, for his assistance with quirky devices and explaining the issues with satellite/beam changes enroute. Apparently the scheduled singer tested positive a couple of days ago, thus, she will not be on tonight. Perhaps Regent could leave one of those special engraved "30th Anniversary" bottles of Woodford's in each suite as our last surprise 😉
  14. David us just a bit too "full of himself" for us. 🙄
  15. We were also with DeepFreeze for the Splendor inaugural - magnificent. We noticed the few tweaks of design improvement over the Explorer. And we will also be on the Grandeur inaugural. Sometimes the few and minor glitches give a little humor....
  16. Enjoy Sette Mare out on the aft deck - lovely experience while in port.
  17. OBC provided by Regent is the "nonrefundable" type.....use it or lose it Cannot be cashed-in, used in the casino, or to contribute to the Crew Fund. However, we have used it to play bingo...that's just another form of gambling....go figure. 🙄 Have you seen the Mova globes in the shop? Quite lovely and worth the price (zero for you!)
  18. We joined Voyager today. GLAD to see lots of pax on board!
  19. Here you go...this one has been previously reported somewhere on this board: https://inspirediagnostics.com/
  20. Thank you both for your information and words of wisdom. We'll bring the swimmies just in case.
  21. WOW...227 views but no response as yet. Guess people on board are having too much fun on their voyage to check the internet. Glad for them!
  22. We will be joining the ship in Belfast on July 3 and we're wondering if the pool is open for use...and more importantly....is it now heated for these cooler climates?
  23. AND - no invitation needed! Just check out the daily Passages to find the time and location. Walk in. Enjoy!
