  1. That is true...you will be asked to vacate your suite by 8am so Housekeeping can get ready for arriving guests. Regent may offer some disembarkation-day tours that end at the airport but you might consider doing something on your own to take up the time and/or get away room in a hotel.
  2. We were on Mariner until 5/5. That's where we learned the details.
  3. That is correct . She took a "better" position with MSC. More status/responsibility than a ship's captain. Not sure her exact title.
  4. I doubt that they would do a cold water wash for 1 person's load as many guests' laundry is washed at one time in a giant washing machine with whatever their standard water temperature is (warm? hot?). Same for drying- large dryer to handle multiple oassengers' loads at once. You could always use the launderette to wash/dry special items to your liking. I do this occasionally....dry half-way and then hang up in my suite to finish drying. Easy-peasy.
  5. Not co-ed, but fellow guests would appreciate some kind of cover-up in the steam/sauna areas. The facilities are located in the respective change/shower areas. Be sure to try the cold room, too!
  6. I believe someone said he was a Captain during military servic. But yes, he is definitely Commodore on Regent currently "at home" on the Mariner.
  7. Since we're talking CDs..we have been on Mariner for the last 50 days with Paul Reynolds and ACD Richard Rubin. What a talented pair! They complement each other so well. If you ever meet up with either of them....ask about ESWATINI !! They will surely get a laugh..🤣
  8. Have not heard of AARDY.com You can also check www.insuremytrip.com for comparisons among companies and policies. We have recently been using AIG Travelguard. Previously used Travelex but their prices seem to have jumped significantly since covid.
