  1. We love sushi on 5 on the Equines. We go there embarkation day and at least one other. They have great kobi sliders and other stuff for those that do not like sushi. On ther ships like Apex they have bistro which is what you were remembering. Both are great to get away for a quiet meal.
  2. We booked two rooms for Wife and 2 daughters and granddaughter on our cruise last week on the Apex. We did not know the three other X CC numbers and we were able to add them up return home after we researched and found them and had to call CC to find the granddaughters but were then successful adding them to their reservations. So you can add later if you are asking how.to add number, just call CC.
  3. by the way our CD was Brittany and her assistant was Kate on the Apex. They were great.
  4. We were on Apex a week ago and had same experience. Cannot wait to go again in July.
  5. We just got off the Apex on Sunday. Food was great in main dining room for lunches on sea days and dinners. This is always an arbitrary judgement. I can only compare versus our 67 on celebrity. We find most are very good, but it varies greatly by ship and by Chef on that cruise. Same menus will produce different results for us. Example, we do lunch on sea days. All menus in MDR are the same and yet every cruise the food quality is different. For the most part all are very good in the past and on the Apex they were great. In Dec we were on Silhouette and it was even better on those days.
  6. We are just of the Apex. We ate in regular dining each night in the Tuscan. We did lunch in MDR, Bistro and OVC. We also ate in Eden one night. We just did Silhouette in Dec and Edge and Equinox last year. Back to the Apex. Menu was missing the Beef and several lamb dishes, but still had very good options each night. Two nights we did not like the menu selections and we ordered Filets off the kids menu. They were outstanding, done perfect we no sauces. I wish we would have known this was an option in past years. Service was great at all venues. The Bistro for lunch was outstanding the muscles and lamb chops were the best ever on ships. We only did one buffet lunch and it was outstanding compared to previous cruises, many options. I do not know if it was just that Apex had a good chef of what but it was great. Only problem we had was getting a premium Chardonnay. Lunches in the MDH were same as usual with the same 4 menus and food was great, only one app was bad and that was beef ironically. Eden was great but should be for the price. We will be doing a full review.

  8. yes, you can do. remember they are not as knowledgeable as the line you are on. So know what you want.
  9. I said that after 3 cruises too after 30 I was sad that I did. After that I stayed with X except for a few with family on other lines then the next 66 were with X and now we turn Zenith. I wish after 10 I started with X. I could be saving some of the cash I spent. Despite what you hear on CC it is still a great cruise for us and now we can have the perks when we want, with laundry, prep beverage, and better internet and best perk call a special Z telephone number and someone actually answers right away.
  10. We sailed on Silhouette last thanksgiving. Not many kids at all. A couple were staff officer children and a few others. Typically on X if cruise is 8 days or longer then not many kids unless Christmas week, You do not notice them.
  11. Have just read the thread on review of a cruise on Edge and how terrible it was, it was great to hear how great your Apex cruise was. We are set to board the Apex on Feb 11 for our free Zenith cruise. We have been on the edge several times and loved it. We now look forward to the cruise, thanks. We will review when we return.

  14. We upgrade every time. My spouse like KJ Chard and Mer So chard so no choice here. I like Belvedere and good burbons so no choice here. We have also and I cannot believe I am saying this but Avian water is better. And I agree with last post I like trying different wines at dinner.
  15. Last Friday I went to check on a new cruise on X Site. I went to CC tab and much to my surprise my points went from 3010 to 0, that's right 0. Having just been called by Celebrity last week and congratulated for turning Zenith. We then booked a free cruise over the weekend. Now we have 0. I was surprised. So yesterday day my spouse call to book another cruise and while on she told CC rep about points and she was going to take care of. Then I checked last nigh and again early this morning but still zero. Then I went to Facebook this morning and saw a solution. Someone, Nancy, suggested to go to settings on X site and delete your CC# and reenter number and it worked, all points returned. So if you account goes to 0, do not panic try doing this suggestion.
  16. another it and marketing combo that is awful. I do not think they ever test anything before putting it out to their loyal customers. At least when the try things aboard ships they generally test on ships like the summit or other ship to test reactions and interests. One good that I saw tested on summit was silent disco. it was expanded to all ships in a year.
  17. On our recent equinox cruise 10 days, we had 4 silent disco, a mama Mia sing along at 830 and a queen sing along early as well. there were other white out and sail away parties out on deck at 10. No special outfits. Great fun at all.

  19. I did do another account but that did not work. Until this morning when I received an email to verify my email. Then I tried to click on account and it said temporarily unable to connect. Then I click on second link and that did not work either. I believe this only went to Zenith and then will roll out to all CC members.
  20. Yesterday we received an email from Celebrity asking us to join this new celebrity experience. I think tried to register and they did not recognize my email. As we all know X systems are not the best. So I stopped trying. This morning I received another email confirming my registration. So I clicked on the link. Now nothing on the page. Has any other Zenith tried to register or link to the site? For the record, I tried on my Mac and my iPad. The experience looks interesting, so if someone was able to get connected I would be interested on what you think.
  21. Hi, we brought large clamps used for paper reports. We saw this suggestion on cruise critics. Works well when you have a curtain problem. Every room is different depending on ship and age of curtains.
