  1. You are right we tested at 830am. It took 15 minutes to get thru line. There were 60 plus BTBers. We were told that we would find out by turn down. At 745pm the Cat stated there were 1% positive. No other info was given to us. No details. We were not happy to have to wait that long but we assumed if you tested positive they would have contacted them. Not the best way to handle it but that was how it was done on second cruise. An announcement was made at 745pm again the second last night that again1% tested positive. No details were given again.
  2. JG 51, We were tested at 830am on the last full day of cruise. We found out results at 8pm. The captain made an announcement at 745 pm on both cruises that there was 1% positive cases on both cruise. Yes service was great at all venues we used on the first cruise and again on the second leg with had less passengers. The cruise after our was a charter. The next two after the charter we were total were suppose to be near capacity. I expect that to continue. So do they.
  3. We were just on the Equinox BTB and we had were to have 2400 on first cruise and not all were able to make it and second was 1900 and not all made it. We were told on cruise that a charter was next and then they were to a capacity for the next couple of cruises. I think they were saying 2500 passengers. They were not limited at all according to officers we talked to. We were in Blu and they expected capacity each cruise coming up. They were a lot of no shows due to flights on our first cruise and the second cruise they held our departure a few hours so people, I think 20 from a flight, could make it.
  4. We just got off btb on the Equinox. I tried to use all the features and only found menus to be useful. Reservations and other things we unavailable. Remember the app is only as good as the internet and these two cruises it was terrible. I saw many people in line the first two days of both cruise complaining about it, especially those who must be in contact for work. Its a great app that needs a lot of work. The person responsible for the app was on the cruise and got to talk with him. He wanted to hear my frustrations. His response was also it is only as good as internet. He also said that the new test internet was being beta tested on on the RCL ships. He said it will be a big plus. Cannot wait for it on X.
  5. We just got off the Equinox on Saturday. We were btb and were invited to the Concierge lunch on the second cruise. It was great. Short Ribs were on the menu.
  6. We just got off BTB and we did both Murano and Tuscan. Everything is as people say 18 % was added to bill, however you no longer get a bill while dinning so if you want to see breakdown you must go to Guest Services for a copy. I had to go there to see if we got our discount for Elite Plus. We had a great meal at each. Murano was superior but now is more expensive. When I booked on board I booked with CC host concierge and second one I booked at Murano. I was told at Murano that there was a charge but not with concierge. I knew it though. We used to add a tip so actually they are getting less. Makes no sense. Another note, they ran out of premium Chardonnay, both Mer Sol and Steel were gone on first cruise. It was interesting to see what they would offer in its place. We dined in Blu and was really taken care of. No complaints, but they are regularly running out both I hear.

  8. Generally if it a 7 day cruise of less you will be great. You will enjoy the E class ships. Have fun.

  10. On our last several cruises on Silhouette, edge and Equinox I was advised by the X rep in the Apple store not to their apple products. We had lots of OBC. So I cashed it out on Roulette in the casino on each cruise. I also asked on last cruise when will they buy more Apple products and he was hoping later this year. One note, when you are in a cash crunch like the RCL company is I am sure many companies are Leary to let them buy on credit or RCL is hesitant to buy on loan, they must rate their debt as to best use of money.

  12. I have been on 3 cruises since restart. All were in Ft Lauderdale. We have been off by 745 am and that was with luggage being handled for us. People walking off line up around 7 on deck 5 on S class ships but we have not had clearance until 730am or so. The process is very quick now, no more waiting in line for customs. It is all done via facial recognition. As fast as you can walk you are off. Last time we were in our car by 750 in the parking garage and we were given tags that said 745. So you should be off without hassle.
  13. Yes I did this year and it was posted in less than two weeks. I also saw it on my plan so I could use on that cruise.
  14. I have used my points many times. I used BOA website to order the OBC. Each time it appeared in a couple of weeks. It did not always show on X website, but it always was on my account when I was onboard. I also used for Royal cruise. It has always worked. Only issues I have had involved cancelled cruises in March 2020. That was a nightmare. The second nightmare occurred recently when I got tested positive week of cruise. I managed to transfer some OBC to kids on that cruise. I lost a portion because they, BOA and RCL messed up and we lost 50 out of 250 OBC. But they tried. Bottom line it will work most of the time. If anything happens between BOA and X it is not a good process and no one knows the system. Most of the time it works. If something happens good luck finding answers or tracking. All questions are handled by a section of CC at X. I do recommend copying your order on the BOA site for your record. The records of your order disappear after a month and cannot be tracked.
  15. We only bring wine on board when touring a winery and have brought a couple to dinner. We have never been charged a corkage fee. However, we always drunk much wine during the cruises we have taken. I think when you do have packages they overlook the fees. If you are trying to avoid wine fees and only bring your own you will be charged.
  16. I had this problem for two days on all my apple devices. I finally turned off all devices and just let them set overnight and when I turned them on again it worked. I had to power off my Mac and phone and iPad. I think. the Mac was the key.
  17. We called celebrity. We asked for money and got all including internet and Bev Package that we purchased separately on internet. You might have to call TA and that will be harder. That is why we have not used a TA since coming back. I like control. It will be interesting to see if you get all your money back or the TA asks for something. Good luck.
