  1. ecs, you will see where to click to show all BOARDS at the top of the page here, towards the right. Scroll down to Ports Of Call... Click on Caribbean. : )
  2. JuJu... I am not sure where you might have read/heard that... But I do not know of any right now. The first sailing for FLL is VERY heavily sold for all categories MiniSuite down... Yes, many of not most of the over-priced 'SANCTUARY CLASS' staterooms are the ones showing available. I would foresee a lot of upgrades and bidding for upgrade before any move-over offers.
  3. When booking for three guests, Princess web-site is showing the deposit is $198.00. ( 2 X 99.00 reduced deposit ) So, with the upcoming 3 Day Sale, I am assuming that this is the same. Paying only two deposits per cabin. If that is true, then if the third passenger were to cancel, How would that work with the NON-refundable deposit on the 3 Day sale??? I am hoping that the third passenger can be cancelled off the booking, with no problems or issues??? TA is a bit confused by this question, and is worried that this would change our booking, and therefore lose the 3 Day Sale benefits. Will be back in touch with her as soon as I can!
  4. For sure, when looking at a few future cruises, I had one pop up at $64. per day. Last I looked, it is still showing $60. per day. Not sure if Princess will do this before this one Promo with one agency??? But, this might be a good heads-up.... If anybody was considering getting the Plus Package, this might be the time to do it.
  5. Quoting to copy this in again... Excellent explanation! Balcony - no loveseat or sitting area.. only the chair at the desk/counter Deluxe Balcony - slightly larger cabin with the small two seat mini-sofa (loveseat). Premium refers to the outside balcony space. On Royal class ships, standard balcony is small. A 'Premium' larger balcony space can be either on a standard or a Deluxe cabin. NOTE: Aft Wake-View Deluxe Balconies are all the 'Premium' category - but not all of them are really larger. Check Deck-Plans. NOTE: There are a limited few cabins to be found that have larger balconies that are not the 'Premium' category. Again, check deck plans. The larger and sometimes angled balconies mid-ship, mentioned just above, are listed as 'obstructed'.. Obstructed Balcony cabins are listed under the INTERIOR cabins, when choosing the type of cabin you want when looking online.
  6. I am seeing Deluxe Balconies at (avg) 233, and Balconies at 222. That Average size that it shows when you click on the cabin is surely an error. NOT unheard of with Princess IT !
  7. Thanks everyone! We are seeing some great options. I remembered a trip report here from Aruba with a private option, if they are lucky enough to be able to book. I remembered seeing a great trip report for that, and so glad I did. 🌺 🦩🦩🌺 So, that and seeing Eagle Beach. 🌴 🏖️ 🌴 A couple of good options for Bonaire too! Maybe Woodwind, or going to one place on their own. 🐟🐠🐡🐙 Looks like Curacao is the one where it is taking some time to find the best thing to go with!.
  8. Interesting, about the Plus Package??? I am contacting a new TA today (hoping I found a good one that actually is just 30 min, from here). And I now have two questions to ask... do you truly HAVE to book with the Plus Package? And, can she do whatever is needed to get the two of us a Premium Deluxe Balcony, that Princess is almost always holding for three or more guests? We shall see! I would be more likely to book this promotion if I could use it onboard towards adding the Plus Package when we board. (for a couple of reasons...)
  9. Transfers... yes that would be good. If it is a BW or a BA or B-whatever. It should be a Balcony.
  10. Yes, it sounds like it is bookings with PLUS... Now, whether one can cancel PLUS once onboard, and not lose the OBC???? For me, $20.00 of the $30. OBC per day is an upgrade to Premium.... So, that leaves $10.00 per day to try to spend. The question then becomes... what about those who want to book SANCTUARY on the SUN, and already have Premium. THEN that does become a LOT of OBC to use up, when most everything onboard is already covered. I don't think it would pay us to re-book our two bookings... I know for sure that our next cruise has gone up, a LOT. Will have to do the math on our second booking. (edited to add: Nope, if I am remembering how much we paid, the fare has gone up about $600. No benefit there.) This might actually be a good thing if we were to book a 10 day.
  11. This should be well known and offered by any TA associated with the big online TA that does this every year.
  12. Does NOT sound like a deal, at all. A paltry #30.00 (or, however much) on a cruise that has gone up $1,000. Really? 'Disenchanted' is not the word that I have in mind for Princess corporate right now.
  13. I would also like to follow this thread. I understand that this are up to the North has been having some issues, due to the nearby facilities. I am also still confused about finding set-up rentals, restrooms, etc... on Eagle Beach. Right now we are leaning towards Coco Loco... While I have heard of public restrooms, the only thing I have seen so far are some Porta-Potties at the park area, just to the left/South of Coco Loco.
  14. Thanks! Will check out snorkeling with Woodwind!
  15. I think it might look like this.... Bed is on the sidewall, not the back wall. ______[ door ]______________ | | bench counter | | bath \ | | | |_____|_[ closet ]_ _| <> <> |_|
  16. There are photos of 11617 on the one website that focuses on cruise ship deck plans. If you are not able to access them all, then let me know. There is also a general photo of the hallway, taken right outside the door of this cabin. It can be hard to see details, but it appears that it is layed out like a smaller version of an OV cabin. The doorway is not 'recessed', and is almost even flush with the hallway. It does not appear that the door opens in the middle of the main area.... Not sure how the bath is located??? Hope this helps!
  17. If they go with the new SANCTUARY CLASS ship-within a ship... something tells me that Harmony will actually be come the new Sanctuary/Signature restaurant.
  18. Sounds like these Princess cruisers are real Party Animals!!!
  19. This is actually for a friend. If they book a Princess cruise, Southern Caribbean ABC Islands, what are some of the best things to consider? I know that this cruise is always highly recommended. But, hope to be able to give them some more thoughts. What different things make this itinerary so great!
  20. Somebody mentioned that it works on Chrome. It has not been working on my browser, but has been working on the new APP. Yes, some of this stuff regarding customer service.. (no notice on excursion) is pretty bad with Princess. I think many of us just deal with that now, as we know that the onboard experience is better!
  21. LAcruiser... Hop you can get the latest 'scoop'!!! We will hold you to your offer, and be looking forward to your LIVE!!! I just pulled deck plans up, side-by-side... The spaces are really about the same. Give or take, depending on exact scale. Princess can 'create' as many, or as few, SANCTUARY Class cabins as they want. And there are plenty of Mini-Suites, Premium Deluxe Balconies, and existing Suites onboard. Just new color codes on the deck plan.
  22. Following!!! Thanks for the post! We will not be boarding until Sun gets here to the U.S. The one thing that I am hoping to get some early info on is whether, with the new Sanctuary Club Class, that the Cabanas in the sanctuary might ever be available to rent to lowly non-sanctuary guests?
  23. LAcruiser, I would place NO weight on what you were told. In no way is that area 'small'.... If it were to be changed to a Sanctuary Club Class, then the whole Forward of the ship, from the entry into the pool area all the way forward, would become the new SANCTUARY/SIGNATURE. Everything is there... very little changeover needed. However, I am wondering just how well this over-priced new class is selling. On the first cruise of the changeover... every category below Sanctuary is almost sold out, either sold-out or RESERVE only. Tons of Sanctuary cabins sitting there, available.
  24. Has anyone been able to do this? Can you even know if this is possible before booking? This all seems so confusing with Delta. Thanks for any help or info!
