  1. Thanks. They are telling me it can be applied to excursions but only after they board. But nobody wants to wait until they board to book their excursions! Hopefully if I keep at them we can get this sorted.
  2. I'm a travel agent, and I booked some clients on an Azamara cruise. They got $750 in OBC with their booking, under the "Three Free Nights" promo. Now Azamara is telling me that this is "flash OBC" and can't be used on excursions, it can only be used once they get on board. I can't find anything in the terms & conditions about this. Has anyone experienced this? Is this an actual thing? Thanks!!
  3. It's in September of this year, so definitely not more than a year out!
  4. I booked a cruise on Saturday. In the app today, I can see the cruise there, but I can't see any excursions, beverage packages, etc. Does it take a few days to be able to access that stuff?
  5. I would personally want to plan to spend at least 3 hours. Transportation there is easy if you are walkers. From the pier in Sorrento, it's about a 15 minute (pure guesstimate based on memory) walk to the train station. There are frequent trains to Pompeii and there's no transfers required. Hop on and when you get to the Pompeii stop, it's literally right across the street. We wandered around on our own and occasionally glommed onto other people's tours for 5 minutes or so at a time just to hear a few tidbits. Amazing, amazing place. One of my top 10 things I've seen in my life.
  6. On Regal all they have is the gelato sundaes. They're not that great. They're fine and all but if you didn't have plus, definitely not worth $12 which is what they charge for them.
  7. The website implies that soda is not included in the classic package, is that true?? That seems crazy.
  8. Thanks! Is the iced tea the sweetened or unsweetened kind?
  9. I've Googled and combed through Norwegian's FAQ but I can't seem to find the answer to this anywhere (everything is just telling me what's included in the beverage package). What can you drink for free if you don't have a package? Presumably tap water and normal coffee/tea? Is there anything else like iced tea or lemonade that's free?
  10. The vast, vast majority of places accept credit these days, especially post-pandemic. Visa/MC most accepted, Amex somewhat accepted, the rest you will probably have trouble.
  11. Just got off Emerald, they had a table with waters and sodas near the exit at all the ports.
  12. They mean the primary series (2 doses for most). If you have 1 booster you're good.
  13. Part C - It's not cheap, but this place is right at the cruise terminal: https://fast-test.ca/pan-pacific/ I can't say if it would be covered.
  14. Honestly, I'm not really sure, I am guessing it was part of a promotion. I've re-fared this cruise so many times I kind of lost track of all the promotions, LOL. This is what it looks like in my payments screen:
  15. If the condition she needs surgery for wasn't there before you bought the insurance, you should be fine in my opinion. But you can talk to your travel agent to confirm, it's their job to understand the insurance they sold you. If you didn't have a TA, then you should be able to call Princess to confirm.
  16. I have $50 of shore excursion credit on my upcoming cruise but none of the excursions are really calling my name. I suspect the answer is no, but is it possible to apply this against transfers? That would be awesome.
  17. According to Cruise Industry News, the 2 Crystal Ocean ships are going to Heritage Group and will be re-launched, not scrapped. https://www.cruiseindustrynews.com/cruise-news/27719-manfredi-lefebvre-said-to-be-behind-crystal-cruises-ship-purchase.html
  18. Is it a tender in Cobh or do they dock? I can't entirely tell if this conversation is about Cobh or Guernsey. We also booked a private tour in Cobh so I'll want to adjust the time if it's a tender.
