  1. I am not counting out UConn.Caitlin wanted to play for UConn but they never wanted her She is dating the son of the Iowa Men’s Basketball team.She will be a starter on Indiana in the WNBA team next year .Pluses for choosing to play at Iowa.
  2. Why not this year ? It may be Iowa vs.SC One of my granddaughters friends is on a team that nearly defeated SC last week.They can be beaten.
  3. It was a 12 day and a wonderful cruise.We were browsing in a store in Curaçao.I was wearing a Born in Brooklyn tee shirt.The owner of the store asked where in Brooklyn I grew up.Much to my surprise and his I lived in a house directly across the street from where he lived .
  4. I had a pen pal in the early 50’s from Sweden.We never exchanged gifts ,just conversations.
  5. We did the ABC islands sailing out of NY.
  6. Very New York,very Baltimore,parts of NJ .Egg Creams are supposedly only sold in NY.I found it on a menu in a Houston Texas restaurant 20 years ago.

I wrote a book in 1988.It is still being sold in Barnes and Noble and at at least two other book stores.For several years I brought copies on cruises,signed them and offered free copies to anyone who showed up at the Meet and Mingle who wanted a copy I have approximately 1200 books in my home ,some that I have had since the 1950’s.
  8. One of my son in laws grew up in the Baltimore area.His 82 year old mother ate it as a child.

  10. I have lived in NYC and it’s suburbs my entire life.Friends of mine relocated to a Houston Suburb .I went to visit them 20 years ago. The people who I encountered on my visit and subsequent visit were a lot friendlier than the majority of New Yorkers .I never cruised out of Galveston but my friend have and prefer those cruises.
  11. I never had a kindle.To me there is nothing better than an actual book.

  13. The most interesting ice cream I ever had was a Kitchen Sink at a Jahn’s Ice Cream Parlor in NY.
  14. I saw the original production in Vermont in 2006.It was excellent. My wife and I saw theatrical productions all over the US and Canada between 1973 and 2018.
  15. When I was in Elementary School in the 1940’s we made Easter baskets and colored eggs to put in the basket. In the 50’s there were wonderful Easter Parades in the area I lived in.
  16. We have always had wonderful TA’s .One TA gave gifts for each cruise booked .The gifts grew in value .For our first cruise we were given a canvas bag .For our fifth cruise good quality binoculars. Later that year she got married.Her husband convinced her to stop giving gifts.
  17. Like they do it in the movies is an Off Broadway show that will close in two days but if anyone is in NY this weekend and looking for an interesting evening This play starring Laurence Fishburne is my suggestion.
  18. I recommend Allstate Car Service.They are located in Brooklyn not too far from the cruise port.
  19. Not the same because Charlie not being able to walk up and down will not be long lasting but when I had this problem I bought a stairlift in 2017.Most companies give discounts to Veterans and there is a company owned by Veterans.
