1970’s but those areas are a lot worse currently.

The L,E and A trains have very high rates of crime as the routes go through areas that are not safe.In the area that I resided in I would have to take the L ,E or A to get into Manhattan.I was mugged at knife point and gun point more than once.

I have been wearing a Timex watch every day for many years that I bought for $5 .It works great .I would never spend hundreds or thousands for a watch.

Alaska on an HAL ship.We went to Danali National Park.Our tour guide was a college professor from Oregon.He gave all of us several books to keep about the park.The tour was supposed to be two hours instead it was more than 4.It was a fantastic experience.

I think instead of shows with no talent singers there should be shows featuring the passengers .

My youngest daughter also loves what I refer to as the years of great music.She also is into music of recent years.On September 1 she is flying to the UK to attend the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert and returning to NY the next day.

My daughters bought me 5 books for Fathers Day.I have been watching so much on Netflix,Prime and TV cable networks that I have not yet begun to read.

I wonder if it is like a product to keep bees away that people hang on their decks.I tried it one summer and it did just the opposite.

I have a NYC Senior Transit pass with my picture on it .If I used it ,it would be half fare.I got it at age 65 but I have yet to use it because I have not been on a bus or train.The picture of me is when my hair was still brown.Every 3 years they send me a new card.One time I did not get a card and I called NYC transit and the person who answered the phone told me that according to their computer it was not used and they assumed I was no longer on the planet .I assured the person that I was and I got a card.The current card expires 7/31 .I have not gotten a new one yet.When I got the very first card I put $35.00 on it and I assume it will never be used.

I was last on a subway in 1990.The first time I was on the subway it was five cents a ride.I remember when the fare went up to a dime.People were outraged.

I also need to eat them with tarter sauce or ketchup.Tonight it was tarter.

I remember the SI trains .It has been many years since I was on one. Toby and I were members of a Senior Tour group for several years.In 2018 we were on a tour of Staten Island .It was lunch at an Italian restaurant ,museums ,and a ride on the ferry.

The interesting thing is that my godfather was Italian and although he took me out to eat many times it was never for pizza.

Park Side is the name of an Italian restaurant that was in Brooklyn known for connected families but in reality there is no such thing,as we know. I order in all 5 boros and went to school in 3 of the 5.Having lived in Brooklyn nearly 60 years I know it best.I worked in Manhattan more than 30 years and know it nearly as well as Brooklyn .I spent a good deal of time in the Bronx and Staten Island and the least time in Queens but over the years I have dined there many times in many areas.
