We booked an inside cabin once and a porthole cabin once. Two cruises with balconies and one with a suite. We never requested a suite but had a horrible experience on a cruise so bad that a representative of the cruise line offered a suite at the cost of an OV. Every other cruise has been a OV,our preference. We very rarely went on a cruise less than 14 nights. -
We were at a street fair and a woman had a booth with a sign identifying herself as a TA .We went to speak to her and she said that for every cruise booked she gives a gift.We booked a cruise and received a travel bag.For our second cruise she gave us good quality binoculars .For our third cruise a good quality carryon.

We have been to Bermuda 12 times. The first time in 1973 .We were young and healthy. We walked and went to many places . Subsequent visits we toured by bus and ferry. The highlight of our first ferry ride was when we saw a deckhand wearing a Brooklyn tee shirt. He lived in Brooklyn but his parents were born in Bermuda .

It was a 7 night cruise from NY to Bermuda. We were in Bermuda several days and found activities for every day..There were also night time movies on the ship.Although my wife and I traveled alone we became very friendly with other cruisers as well as many crew members. One night we went to a night club with both crew members as well as other passengers.

Our first cruise was in 1973 on a Cunard ship. There was only one restaurant.Passengers were assigned to tables but they had the choice of tables for 4 or 6.There were no shore excursions. The only activities were skeet shooting, shuffleboard and a pool. The evening shows were great ,outstanding well known singers and comedians. Every cabin had a porthole.
