  1. Actually you're sailing from Port Canaveral. In 2019 we parked at garage by terminal. On return the porter went with us to the car in the garage. Just note garage elevator was slow. Our cruise was cut short by 1 day and were only charged for 6 days even though paid on arrival for 7.
  2. Couldn't download to tablet but someone on here said they used the smart switch app on their android/Samsung phone to transfer to their Samsung tablet. Both were Samsung products. I tried it and it worked.
  3. Don't recall the numbers on the TA. We sailed at about 2400 passengers and lots of children, unusual for TA but there was a 2 week school holiday in the UK. Also 2/3 of passengers were not US citizens or residents. Not sure how that adds up.
  4. What about people who prepay gratuities or who have a ta who gifts it? Just because gratuities not listed does not mean they weren’t paid.
  5. That's what our edocs say. We plan on doing that for our January cruise. Btw we usually tip room attendant, waiter, assistant waiter extra. We also tip bar waiters in diamond lounge and elsewhere for our free drinks.
  6. Amazing. Just checked and the credit is there. Says occurred onn12/7 but i don't think it was there yesterday but i didn’t check last night or earlier today. Anyway done. Good luck to everyone else.
  7. The thing is Royal just raised gratuities effective September 7th. Imho too soon for another increase.
  8. So why is post here? He does mention Royal in the post. If i misunderstood sorry.
  9. Confused. We have a cruise in January and edocs say $16/per day and since booked prior to September 7th can prepay at $14.50. I haven't seen anything. Online about Royal raising gratuities again. When is your cruise? Which ship? Considering they just raised gratuities in September and the previous increase was 4 years earlier this seems odd.
  10. Did I miss something as I don’t see Jewel crossing to Amsterdam. I see her sailing from Amsterdam in May but no crossing.
  11. I emailed mbayley#rccl.com yesterday and got a response this am. They found a problem in my refund, fixed it, and should be another 10-14 days! I'll believe it when I see it. Not a huge amount of money but annoying.
  12. Take a photo of your negative covid test.
  13. Good luck. I got similar responses. Friday, you'll have your credit by Monday as it's already been processed. Today, it takes time, at least 14 business days and more if an international transaction or with some banking institutions. We'll see.
  14. Still waiting for refund from email dated 11/18. Every time I get a different story. Today told that international and certain banking institutions take longer! What?! Used a Royal credit card and I'm pretty sure Tennessee is not international. Oh well.. i continue to wait.
  15. On our last cruise I ordered a soup, potato (?) That came with bacon on top and I asked for no bacon. It was no problem. Obviously soups are made earlier in the day but i assume they aren't finished, i.e. garnished, until ordered.
  16. On Anthem in October it was by the outdoor pool and it was served by a crew member. Also served by crew on August Liberty sailing and also out by pool.
  17. While we lovec our QM2 crossing, not sure it would please the kids poster szid he wzs traveling with.
  18. Enjoy the cruise. We've done 2 with stops in Iceland. Always enjoyed these northern transits.
  19. Thanks. Haven’t actually been to Portugal but stops in Madeira and Porto Del Guado, which are part of Portugal. Also our Vigo, Spain stop was so close to Portugal. We'll have to find a wzy to get there.
  20. We've chosen them based on either ports (northern route) or where I want to leave from or end up. We've booked one in 2024 to Rome. We like the follow up cruise and then will spend time in Rome. The med will be new for us as most of our TAs (5) have gone from/to northern ports.
