  1. Sorry but due to lack of description, I'm struggling imagining what your Beefeater voucher looks like .So I guess as Andy said "No photo ....🀣" I’m trying to get a photographic memory but its still developing.πŸ™ƒ As for photo's of food Graham is right ,loads of people and I like looking at them . Walk down any seafront in the Med past the cafe's and people gather to look at the food menu photo's . Everyone stops to look once in a while , Even you ? πŸ™‚πŸ€£ Have a good day ,Come on Millie &co ..You can do it πŸ˜„
  2. Such a sad day ..... But without memories (thank God we have them ) We would never remember the good time we shared with them πŸ™‚ They never leave you do they
  3. Morning 18.c bright and breezy today . Just had a blast from the past through our letter box ,a BT phone book directory, very small to what they used to be . The print inside is so tiny that you would need the eyes of a sparrow hawk to read them . Mrs K used to work in a big telephone exchange and she says she wouldn't have stood a chance working with them . So it's from letter box to recycle bin in less than two minutes πŸ₯΄ Have a good day everyone πŸ™‚
  4. Would be happy to use the ship again , have to think twice which bar I'm in due to using her sister ship Azura ..One being the Red Bar and other the Blue BarπŸ™‚
  5. When went to our local store there was an old guy stood at the window trying to open it to get out of the store .I called him over to me and opened the door for him . It was like a scene with Eli out of the Last Of The Summer Wine ! He had left his glasses with them to call back later on . I note some of you seem concerned about needing glasses but you shouldn't stress about your eyesight failing as you get older... It’s nature’s way of protecting you from shock as you walk past the mirror.πŸ™ƒ Have a good day everyone πŸ™‚
  6. Agreed if you can log into here ,then you can use a patient system . My doctors gave me a username and invited me to set a password and was given a link like this to save to desktop https://systmonline.tpp-uk.com/2/Login?Date=20230817113810 I can put in requests for double up tablets if going away ,without the need for tying up phonelines /reception time . The system is so easy to use and follow .
  7. My doctors practice runs the same as Josy's and are very good and more often than not can be seen the same day . They use System Online patient app. This can be used on a laptop as well as a smartphone. I can book tablets ,change chemist but they choose not to have make an appointment active . Once I have booked my medication I have the chemist to deliver them , they also put all the tablets into a weekly pill flexi pack . Maybe you could enquire next time at you doctors and get them to set up an account that they would send you an e-mail where you can set up desktop short cut or app ? At least once a year the system stops me ordering until I have had a medication review , which I think is a good thing as well .
  8. You could always get someone help out , like take out a loan ?? πŸ˜‰πŸ™ƒ
  9. Fair play to them Kerrs goal was fair dinkum but ... πŸ™‚
  10. Morning everyone, it 's 13.c and sunny at the moment . To our resident night owl ,it's not much fun when you cannot sleep, that really takes the biscuit ,that's if there's any left by the morning πŸ˜‰ I once bought a pack of those chocolate animal shaped biscuits, but had to take them back as the seal was broken. πŸ™ƒ The ladies football today ,hope England give the Aussies a football lesson . Starts 11 am UK time, I don't understand time zones! How is it possible that in UK it is today. and In Australia it is tomorrow, and in Cleethorpes it is 1962 ? Have a good day everyone (apart from the Aussie football team .πŸ™‚
  11. Anyone can watch and make their own judgements . I was just pointing out that the very two you named were on TV the night before .
  12. Funny you should mention those two cards Andy , those were the two cards featured on last nights BBC1 Rip off Britain .
  13. See my comment above yours #48759 managed to the first break and then abandoned ship .
  14. It's stopped raining so I suppose that's good news . Just sat watching MNTV , CHANNEL 5 ,supposedly a cruise ship program . We managed 15 mins and now sought sanctuary in Tipping Point .
  15. The weather this morning was heavy rain over in Manchester ,so we loaded up with a big breakfast and decided to head for home . Going over the tops A57 it was really lashing it down with rain and thick fog in places where we had climbed to meet the clouds . The motorways were no better ,as Graham said a nice day to stay in and let it all pass by . Have a good day !
  16. Thanks for your kind comments and putting up with me. We decided to have a run out and a meal. Anyone who does not like carvery/buffet or bowling greens in the rain should look away now πŸ™ƒ
  17. Glad to see your enjoying your cruise Phil. before taking up cruising we used Brittany Ferries and used to go to Rouen for the New year staying overnight and celebrate the New year sailing back down the river ,just in time to hit UK waters /time and do it all again . Two New years in one year made for one hell of a hangover ! Hope you enjoy your remainder of your cruise . Just glanced at my Avatar and see I joined CC today in 2011, twelve years ago ! Time just flies by .. Have a great day everyone !πŸ™‚
  18. Morning 15.c bright sunshine earlier but clouding over fast with a breeze building up. Here comes the rain again as Annie Lennox would say . Think just about everyone will get some today . For any of you who have been awake hours this morning , just remember .. β€œInsomnia sharpens your math skills because you spend all night calculating how much sleep you could have if you were able to β€˜fall asleep right now.β€™β€πŸ™ƒ Have a good day !!
  19. Will be looking at it in the New Year when my insurance expires and my car breakdown cover.
  20. Morning πŸ˜ƒ A nice sunny 19.c by now ,going to 23.c and hopefully no showers today. @mrsgoggins I too was thinking about @Harry Peterson and hope he's well and as for @wowzz I am beginning to wonder ,has he got stuck in his shed again ?πŸ˜‰ But you are right we tend to worry more in the wee small hours ,maybe that's why we sleep so we don't worry πŸ₯΄ I once sought the wisdom of an old Tibetan monk who lived far far away .. Well Shirebrook pit tip actually and he told me these words of wisdom .... There are only two things to worry about.. Either you are well, or you are sick. If you are well, then there is nothing to worry about. But if you're sick, there are two things to worry about. Either you will get well, or you will die. If you get well, there is nothing to worry about. But if you die, there are only two things to worry about. Either you will go to heaven or hell. If you go to heaven, there is nothing to worry about. But if you go to hell, you'll be so busy shaking hands with friends you haven't seen in years , so you won't have time to worry about anything . Hope you all have a worry free day and if you don't try not to worry about it .πŸ˜‰ Take care πŸ˜ƒ
  21. Going back about 15 years ago I got an invitation to test drive a Citron at a Doncaster main dealership . Totally out of the blue and I had no dealings with them but if I did the test drive I would be the proud owner of a Thermos cool bag with all the knives forks plates etc . Same as you I thought where is the catch ? There wasn't one just asked me to take it a spin and if I liked the car and would I like to buy one ? Told him "No thanks" and that was it, he handed over the picnic bag and thanked me for my time . Never heard off them since .
  22. Good day for getting washing dry though πŸ˜‰πŸ™ƒ
  23. Not always ,your conditions are like your fingerprints unique to you in some cases . For my HF and other things and the Mrs ailments ,we managed an annual policy for just over Β£700 .All clear wanted Β£1.2k and LV did not want to know me at all. My advice would be to shop around a lot of companies as my insurer may not be as cheap for someone else . Funny lot those insurers .
