It's stopped raining so I suppose that's good news . Just sat watching MNTV , CHANNEL 5 ,supposedly a cruise ship program . We managed 15 mins and now sought sanctuary in Tipping Point .

The weather this morning was heavy rain over in Manchester ,so we loaded up with a big breakfast and decided to head for home . Going over the tops A57 it was really lashing it down with rain and thick fog in places where we had climbed to meet the clouds . The motorways were no better ,as Graham said a nice day to stay in and let it all pass by . Have a good day !

Glad to see your enjoying your cruise Phil. before taking up cruising we used Brittany Ferries and used to go to Rouen for the New year staying overnight and celebrate the New year sailing back down the river ,just in time to hit UK waters /time and do it all again . Two New years in one year made for one hell of a hangover ! Hope you enjoy your remainder of your cruise . Just glanced at my Avatar and see I joined CC today in 2011, twelve years ago ! Going back about 15 years ago I got an invitation to test drive a Citron at a Doncaster main dealership . Totally out of the blue and I had no dealings with them but if I did the test drive I would be the proud owner of a Thermos cool bag with all the knives forks plates etc . Same as you I thought where is the catch ? There wasn't one just asked me to take it a spin and if I liked the car and would I like to buy one ? Told him "No thanks" and that was it, he handed over the picnic bag and thanked me for my time . Never heard off them since .

Not always ,your conditions are like your fingerprints unique to you in some cases . For my HF and other things and the Mrs ailments ,we managed an annual policy for just over £700 .All clear wanted £1.2k and LV did not want to know me at all. My advice would be to shop around a lot of companies as my insurer may not be as cheap for someone else . Funny lot those insurers .

Great photo's of Madeira ,same as others have said it's a place we love as well. My favourite bite to eat was steak prego caco de bolo , Madeira's answer to a burger but better 😋 We liked the cafe opposite where the cruise ships docked . Nice memories . Obrigado Sarah !

I used to work as a programmer for autocorrect... but the bus fried me for no raisin. I told him to go burn in hail. I also found out that the inventor of autocorrect died last beak, his funnel will be held tomato in a lurch .Should you attend please do not bring any powers with you .🙃

First I am on a note book /laptop . Click to save picture to desk top On saved picture (Right click) and select open with options > select paint ... I can now rotate photo left or right Once done top left corner select file Chose save as J Peg photo and save /replace to desktop .. tip .. Always leave a few spaces between your writing and photo . If your on a phone then someone like Graham may help you with the phones edit system .

Such a lovely Granddaughter Brian ,very cute . Spun the photo so she looks even better ,if that's possible 😀

Thanks for the heads up Bob .I keep meaning to look into this as I do have Nationwide account but not Flexi plus at the moment . Same as you this is not my main bank , use this one for when we are off cruising so would make sense to put travel insurance their as well ,if cheaper . With the curse of the C lockup and medical issues ,my account ended up locked out and needed a new bank card that had expired anyway . So just be aware to use the card it at least once a year even if its just a balance check. Did you have to open your flexi account before you got your insurance quote Bob ? Our insurance is running until beginning of next year ,so have put a reminder in my phone .

After all that running around for Mrs K this morning ,up off and out before 7 am . I thought it was only right that rather than start cooking ,we could go out for a meal ,so the pub lunch beckoned, so she could relax. Mrs K had the lasagne/garlic bread and chips, me I went for a turkey and beef carvery with all the trimmings . The serving utensils were that hot you could barley hold onto them. By the time I sat down to heat my hands must have been glowing . Soon to be followed by my nose as I had opted for a good dollop of English mustard ! Now to say this one was keen , it was like having two red hot pokers stuffed up your nose ,that met somewhere in your eyeballs ! I didn't do any photos as we all know what a carvery looks like and knowing you lot, would have preferred to see me suffering ,with what felt like my nose on fire . Still mustn't complain though as that is my idea of very fine dining 🙃 Bone Apple Teeth 🙂

Thanks to everyone for your kind wishes . A Quick update the baby through the scan is now weighing 4lb 8oz in old money . Just amazes me how they take all these measurements with 8 weeks to go apart from that all is good .

Yes ,22 years ago I was holding our grand daughter and now .. Came as a pleasant surprise when she told me I was going to be a great grandad !

Morning ,hope everyone's ok 🙂 A bit cool this morning 11.c here but dry. I'm home alone this morning as Mrs K was up off and out taking eldest Granddaughter to the Hozzie for a scan of our Great grandkid to be in a couple of months 🙂 The mum to be is faring well but her Pre-eclampsia ?? reading was rising but I'm sure the Hozzie staff will be on top of that at this stage of play. This scan will tell us her weight and lots of other things they can work out from it . Medical science is mind bending these days ,I was reading an article about research at Porton Down and how they are preparing base vaccines for infections that do not even exist yet 😲 I think my Mam was a pioneer of this sort of thing , as a kid she would say .. "Before you even think about it ,don't do it or you will end up with a smack laddie ." How the hell did she know what I was going to do before I did ?? Well that cuppa and toast won't make itself !
