  1. Emerald Seas (Admiral Cruise Lines), 1990, 3-day to Nassau and Coco Cay.

    Yes, it got us hooked!

     

    The Emerald Seas was an old War World II trooper carrier converted into a cruise ship. Our second cruise was also on her and from there, we've never stopped cruising!

  2. Okay, here's one of my favorite ship pix: Carnival's Liberty taken this past May while she was still docked in Miami.. It's in my signature below.

     

    Here's another favorite, but it's NCL's Pride of America. I took this while we were on a aerial tour of Kawai, HI. Well, no matter how I do this, it's not going to paste the dang pix...just click on the link below to see it, it really is neat.

  3. Our first cruise, and second, was on the Emerald Seas. I loved that ship, maybe because it was our first. I had asked the same question a few years ago and someone posted all this history about her. It may have been before the boads switched over so you may not be able to do a search on it to find it, but I miss that ship, too.

     

    You know it initially was a WWII trooper carrier!
