  1. Good to know. Maybe if I put back the photo I deleted, they'll re-insert in into the thread it disappeared from?

If the link is the same.

I used to have an account with Webshots and when it closed down all the albums and pictures I had posted on here and on my own website no longer show. I was really disappointed. It's too much trouble to upload them on another site then go back to my website and put them back on there.

  2. Terre, thanks for your comment. I sense that you may be still having difficulty in posting your picture on this board, based on your posts on June 25th. I see that you have your pictures on Photobucket as well. I was able to follow your link to your picture, from there I copied the IMG data to the right of the picture in Photobucket, and pasted it onto here and added your caption under the photo. That's all I did and now it magically appears.

    Hope this helps.

Thank you. I think I finally got it figured out. I didn't think the link to the entire album was posting but it was. Photobucket is a little confusing with so many options...I miss Webshots, it was so easy!

Johneeo and others on this thread have been a HUGE help!

  3. Okay, y'all have been so helpful...which link to I click on in Photobucket to post here for the entire album, not just one photo?

    This may work...let's see: http://i1336.photobucket.com/albums/o660/Terre52/Food%20Porn/ShrimpCocktail.jpg

Okay, that didn't work either. I don't think I have a link to post in forums that will open an entire album. Bummer. I think I used to because I posted in my signature a linkl to my last photo album, but now all I have are links for a slideshow, email and HTML.

Let's see what happens with this link: http://s1336.photobucket.com/user/Terre52/media/Alaska%202011/4amsunrise_zpsd9c810f4.jpg.html

  4. Trying to link the entire album:

    <div style="width:480px;text-align:right;"><embed width="480" height="360" src="http://pic2.pbsrc.com/flash/rss_slideshow.swf" flashvars="rssFeed=http%3A%2F%2Ffeed1336.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fo660%2FTerre52%2Ffeed.rss" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" /><a href="javascript:void(0);" target="_blank"><img src="http://pic.photobucket.com/share/icons/embed/btn_geturs.gif" style="border:none;" /></a><a href="http://s1336.photobucket.com/user/Terre52/library/" target="_blank"><img src="http://pic.photobucket.com/share/icons/embed/btn_viewall.gif" style="border:none;" alt="Terre52's album on Photobucket" /></a></div>

Okay, that didn't work...I'll keep trying.

  5. I have gotten the massage there and it's wonderful...it's an outdoor (almost, you're inside a tent) and the massage along with the sounds of the waves and the wind coming off of ocean will definitely put you to sleep! I only got the 30 minute one, but next time I plan on getting the hour massage.

  6. We were on the Oasis last week and our TA had paid our gratuities for us, so I guess it didn't affect them. I'm glad they're doing this because so many people remove tips and don't tip in cash or give an tip extra. We also tip our cabin steward and waiter and asst. waiter extra in cash on the last night.

  7. Hi. I'm looking at Nachi for November (Oasis of the Seas). Can you tell me how far in advance I should book since they do have limited space. My worry is, what happens if the time comes and it's pouring rain -- can you get a refund? Last, how far from the port is it? Are there cabs ready to take you?

It depends on how many ships are in port that day. When we've been the only ship in port we didn't even make reservations. When there were 3 or 4 ships in port we made reservations about a month out. We were on the Oasis last week and did not make reservations, even though there were two Carnival ships in port after us. We got there when they opened at 9:00 and they said they could take us because they only had 40 reserved. The max they take is 50.

One reason we didn't make reservations was because of the rain issue...we were there one year when a storm came up with torrential down pours. They put everyone in a room until it was safe for us to be in the dining room area. It poured four about 30-45 minutes and then cleared up. I honestly don't know about a refund. It's about 20 minutes from port and there are cabs...tell them where you are going...fare is about $16.

  8. Have never been to Mr. Sanchos, but love Nachi Cocum. It can be peaceful and laid back and that's what we love. Sometimes more party people show up and then it's not as appealing. At Nachi Cocum you get your chairs under an umbrella, waiter for the day, one appetizer, one entree, and one dessert, plus all the drinks you want for the day.

Here some pictures I took just last week:

  9. Thanks, Johneeo, but when I tried that it kept telling that the width & height must be greater than zero, but less than the maximum 800 pix.

I was putting in 600X100 and it would not accept that or anything else I would put in. It was so easy to choose a larger size in Webshots -- I want them back!

    trying one more time:

Okay that is bigger, I reversed where I was putting my numbers, thank, Johneeo, you're my hero!

  10. With all due respect, I have to disagree. I was on OA exactly a month after you and the MDR was definitely open the last morning.

Do you still have the "As You Depart" flyer? On the front side, usually the first paragraph lists the times the various venues are open for breakfast. The MDR is always listed - sometimes at hours earlier than usual, sometimes on a different deck (on ships that have multi-level dining rooms), but it's always listed and always shown in the same area as the other venues.

Perhaps you are more attuned to other venues or you have breakfast before the MDR opens on the last day.

I drive home, so I'm not in a rush to get off the ship. As a result, I have never not had breakfast in the MDR the final morning.

You may be right, but that's so different from my experience on many, many Royal cruises. Of course, YMMV.

Man, I hope it's open on the last day. We always enjoy breakfast in the MDR on the last day before getting on the plane. Maybe she thought I meant embarkation day...
