We’ve seen many changes over the years, some we like, some we didn’t and others we had no opinion one way or the other. All companies need to change and adapt to their customers. Hopefully HAL will adapt in away that keeps us coming back. My main interest is itinerary and good service at a reasonable price. We are willing to understand some “supply chain “ issues to a point. I see those issues each week when I venture out to the stores. We have tried NCL when HAL didn’t meet what we wanted. NCL did some things better, others not so much. We are willing to try other lines if they meet what we want in a cruise.

I’d like to celebrate pie today but don’t have any in the house. Yesterday one of my errands was to collect the soda bottle deposits and turn it into two bottles of wine. I was watching a show on National Geographic and saw an ad for HAL. oh to be on a dam ship then Monday would be a relaxing day.

We are expecting another winter storm in the area and again we will be getting mostly rain, I’m not complaining one bit. I do like brownies of all types. I think a quick trip to Aldi is on the agenda. I hope everyone has a good day today. My cat questions are usually where’s breakfast, lunch or dinner. A new favorite is why can’t I have second dinner?

Good Morning Everyone, thanks for the daily fleet report. Today’s meal suggestion sounds good and I’m looking forward to seeing the pictures and recipes from @dfish. I’d like our local squirrels better if they didn’t steal the bird seed. I hug the cats most every, whether they like it or not. I got an email late last night that Canada New England itineraries for 2024 are open for booking. I’m planning on emailing my PCC to book the Historic Coasts on the Volendam. It will be a relaxing week. Plus the early perks seem to be really good. The other plan is to go to the grocery store. One of them gave me a coupon for a free dozen eggs. I hope everyone has a good Saturday.

Hi Jacqui, we cancelled the June 25, 2023 NA sailing. We are trying to be a bit more budget friendly at the moment.

Good Morning Everyone, thanks for the daily fleet report. I’ll pass on today’s meal suggestion, not sure what’s for dinner but definitely not tofu. A new work project came my way overnight so putting that plan together will take up a good portion of the day. I hope everyone has a good day today.

We have smoke detectors that like to go off while we are sleeping. One of the recommendations I got was to use the brush attachment while running to remove any dust, or in our case fur, buildup. It just takes a little dust or fur to trigger them. It seems to help.

Good Morning Everyone, thanks for the daily fleet report. A winter storm is heading our way. We are expecting mostly rain but a bit north of us will be getting ice and snow. I’m almost in sync with today’s meal suggestion, I thawing a cooked turkey breast for dinner tonight. I look forward to @dfish pictures and recipes for new ideas. It’s going to be another “fun filled” day at work so I expect to be busy. I’ve enjoyed meeting new friends on several cruises on a dam ship and I hope to make new ones in the future. This happened to me in June on the Zaandam. It’s hardly a 5* star perk if everyone can get it.

The angst wasn’t from me, it was the other person you quoted. I’d be hesitant to book again if HAL did this to me.

@albingirlin my world $200 is a significant sum of money to leave on the table. While I’d still enjoy the cruise it would make me hesitant to book with them again. @richrhon1 I’d have a similar reaction as you. Plenty of places to spend my vacation dollars.

Good Afternoon Everyone, thanks for the daily fleet report. While I only had one scheduled meeting this morning it was a busy one. Today’s meal suggestion sounds good to me. DH makes a dish that is very similar to the first one from @dfish recipes. It’s been a mostly sunny day today with some sprinkles scattered just to keep you guessing. The card wasn’t compromised but HAL charges. A card that I used for HAl was compromised and the refunds from HAL used the compromised card number and the credits were applied to the replacement card with no action needed by me.

Good Morning Everyone, thanks for the daily fleet report. Today is an in office day, I’ll make good use of the work printer. Yesterday we paid for our May Zaandam cruise. I’m curious about today’s meal suggestion so will wait for pictures and recipes from @dfish to see if it appeals, I like the lamb chops in Tamarind but not at our local Greek restaurant.
