  1. This is what I do, and some items are Folded, others are put on hangers. No problem ever
  2. I can’t say, I haven’t been on epithet line (I have Carnival Jubilee booked) I agree with you, the quality of the food served recently has been abysmal
  3. Yes, you just walk off the ship with your bags at about 7:00, go through facial recognition customs and are getting into your cab or Uber in about 10-15 minutes
  4. If you do self assist disembarkation, you will make that with plenty time to spare.
  5. We are all paying our fair share. You choose to allow the cruise line to tell you what your share is; many of us are quite capable of thinking for ourselves.
  6. And often gave very poor, inaccurate information. He nearly got hundreds killed encouraging people to show up at the pier in Galveston during Hurricane Harvey (a move which led to a class action lawsuit)
  7. no, that benefit only kicks in at the age of 18
  8. I never said they weren’t; I was just answering someone’s question.
  9. I agree completely, it is however an example of the changing economic environment as compared to what we all feel is “traditional”
  10. MSC is charging for entrees after the first, Carnival is charging for entrees after the second.
  11. The problem now is the first part of the equation (low fares) are rapidly disappearing; and that is having a direct impact on the second half of the equation.
  12. No, because most places any more, won’t clean for a few days. We stayed at a very nice “resort” hotel in the Orlando area this summer. We were there 5 days; we never saw housekeeping. We retrieved spare towels and toiletries from the front desk
  13. I no longer leave a tip in a land based hotel. Housekeeping doesn’t attend to the room until I leave, so no tip is warranted IMO
  14. We aren’t looking for a discount. I pay my fare, taxes, and fees just like everyone else. I reward, with a gratuity, those who serve me directly. The distribution of the gratuity is my choice not the choice of the cruise line.
  15. That's curious, our part received 2 blocks on Wonder the week of July 23. both were clear
  16. Have sailed Allure 4 weeks in the last year. She is one of my 2 or 3 favorite ships I have ever sailed on.
  17. I wouldn’t contact them for a couple weeks I’ve had docs issued at around the 12-14 day mark on more than one occasion.
  18. Excellent summation @Goodtime Cruizin; I can echo 100% my experience on Wonder last month (except for MTD as I do not participate)
  19. Just go to guest services the last night and ask for a cash refund.
  20. Agree, I don’t go to the lounge often, but am always in shorts; I don’t even pack long pants anymore in the Caribbean
  21. I understand what you’re saying, however, it kind of misses the point of my post. People would rather be tipped in cash as a reward for the work that they do rather than have a pre-determined amount of money charged to the customer and that’s all they get regardless of the amount of work that they do.
