for me its the claustrophobia thing..tried an interior once and always felt like I had to escape outa there. Trying a porthole interior on Radiance ( free..so..) and hoping a little bit of natural light will help.That being said, LIGHT for sure. Also have stayed on deck one on panorama a couple of times in ocean view and liked the location

I would for sure recommend Stone island as a "cheap" beach day...easy walk to water taxi, good prices on food and drink and not too "touristy" ..activities for kids if you want and the water usually pretty swimable

Yes, Lety's is still there! Our go-to place to hang and eat. We've paid in pesos and in dollars and don't think it makes too much difference. They do take credit cards but one time we were there, the credit card machine was down. We didnt have quite enough cash but they just said, pay us next time ( which we did a year. later!)

Honestly, I feel like there is no such thing as "priority luggage". We have sailed with FTTF and now Platinum but none of it seems to make a difference on when our luggage arrives....sometimes quick sometimes it seems like we the last ones ..

I remember the not too long ago when internet ( verrrry slooowwww) was per minute , then a page would take minutes to load and you were just counting the $$ in your head...So I am still thankful for the unlimited even with a hike up in price

Yup true. But with my ATT plan outgoing sms texts are 50 cents and I believe incoming are free. I don't usually put my phone on airplane mode, I just turn off cellular data.

I didn't really have to..have had cheers and have cruised without and have cruised with free drinks in casino. Even though we both drink, its still less expensive without cheers . (Also I am cheap lol...so will drink regular coffee and be fine with it, bring on sodas, buy the case of water for 5 dollars and 2 bottles of wine..sometimes will buy wine package)

I am an alcohol drinker and enjoy special coffees..however for ME the cheers plan is not economically worth it. I don't think your original question can be answered by others, you just need to decide for yourself .

Our go-to is Letys. You have to walk a bit bit down the beach to get to it. They will give you lounge chairs and umbrellas for the day if you eat or drink. Great coconut shrimp and chicken brochette! (That being said, Letys is the only one we've been to since we like it so much)

The problem is ( at least for me) is that I would just drink more to justify the cost. I normally don't buy milkshakes, spiked coffee etc. So I guess the way I think of it is if you on a normal cruise..when you are paying for every drink.. drink 5 plus alcoholic drinks, then its "worth it". We got it when we had a cheers promotion and it was only 120 extra for a 7 day..it was fun! But I think I drank too much lol

The problem is with the carnival app it has to be open in order to get messages. So you'd have to rely on your daughter to always have the app open and check it every once in a while. Lets just say it didnt work with my husband and I since he never remembered to have the app on nor check to see if he had messages ( I think I would trust a pre-teen more than a 60 year old man though)

Not to make you grab more Xanax..( r maybe it will make you feel better) but in my experience the express luggage is useless. I honestly dont believe they look at the "priority" tags. We have had luggage come quickly , and sometimes take forever, sometimes one suitcase comes and hours later the other..

There are probably lots of good ones but we always end up at Lety's . It is a ways down the beach though. Great food ( coconut shrimp yummmm) and drinks. They are happy to get you lounge chairs and umbrellas to hang all day ( as long as you order drinks or food) . Just a note...there are a lot of vendors walking up and down the beach trying to sell you jewelry , trinkets, etc. This bothers some people. But..just say no gracias and they will walk on by . Or better yet buy something from them! Oh also you are likely to see beach dogs and kitties hanging around. I usually end up feeding them since Im a softie

It says "express luggage" but honestly I haven't noticed a difference in when we get our luggage from not having FTTF, the times we did buy it and now that we are platinum..it all seems like a crap shoot

Before we turned platinum we bought it once..and that was before the price went way up. Honestly..for us not worth the price , Id rather spend on other things.

I always look forward to going to the library for books/games and was surprised when Radiance didn't have one. Next time Ill know to bring my own

We always just do Stone island on our own..its pretty easy. Once you get there though depending on the extent of the mobility problems it could be difficult to get on and off the water taxi and then walk down the beach..basically its a long stretch of beach with rustic style beach restaurants ..activities available if you want .We just plop down at our fav restaurant and they give us lounge chairs and umbrellas for the day ( assuming you eat/drink)

I think they go next-door to the hero's bar but not sure. We had free drinks in the casino too and never really had to wait very long so wherever they get them, its pretty quick
