  1. Will be on Harmony for NYE cruise. Definitely looking forward to this as we are traveling with 12 ppl.
  2. Hands down the Solarium. I love spending my entire trip there. (ANTHEM) Best bar staff and amazing tiered pools.
  3. If you are on a Windows laptop. You should check the Credentials Vault. (type in credential manager into search window>web credentials> delete anything pertaining to RCL) You might have accidently keyed in incorrect password. And every time you attempt to login to website the incorrect login and password is presented. ( https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/accessing-credential-manager-1b5c916a-6a16-889f-8581-fc16e8165ac0 ) Other things to check -do you use a 3rd party password manager? if so check the information in that app to make sure info is correct , if not delete any info pertaining to RCL website. -did you hit the "remember my password and login info for Chrome browser, if so delete info pertaining to RCL website. ( https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95606 ) -Install Brave or firefox browser and make sure it is not a browser issue. Both are safe browsers to install. If you kindle works, definitely not an IP block as it would block your kindle also since it is using same IP scope as your laptop (if using same access point). Good luck!
  4. @Biker19, thanks for the assist! @Charles4515, thanks for re-assurance!! Yes RCL cruise of western caribbean.
  5. Any updates ? Was anyone turned away. DW passport expires end of March23. We are leaving for a western Caribbean for NYE22. Im Not worried at all, but my wife is getting paranoid about being left in FLL. 🙂 while the rest of the family sails.!
  6. TY so much for the great info. Looked into Flam, Grainger, Olden and Eidjord those all seem to fit the bill exactly!
  7. So excited I found this thread. Planning my bucket list trip for 23. Unfortunately I am not able to swing a Luxury ship and will be sticking to RCL, NCL , MSC et al. I saw an interesting itinerary that goes all the way to SVALBARD. I am interested in a R.I.B. excursion to enjoy the icebergs/glacier and wildlife (possible sightings). But I am hesitant because the other ports don't look very appealing. I want to experience the majesty of entering one of those large Fjords/and or getting close to being able too see the glaciers/wildlife/sealife. (inside passage/ glacier bay for Alaska type scenery) Which stops do you recommend for this? Or if you have must have stop's! Should I just skip the whole Svalbard idea and stick to your standard Fjord trip of 7 days and than f/u with a baltic 7 day? These are the ones I am looking at. Option#1 Hamburg Sea Molde Sea Tromso Sea Longyearbyen Sea Honningsvag Honningsvag Sea Bergen Kristiansand Skagen, DN Sea Hamburg Option #2 (leaning towards this one) Hamburg Sea Molde Sea Tromso Sea Longyearbyen Sea Honningsvag Honningsvag Sea Olden Stavanger Sea Hamburg Option#3 Hamburg Sea Alesund Sea Honningsvag Honningsvag Sea Trondheim Molde Bergen Kristiansand Sea Hamburg Thanks so much for taking time to read and give me your opinions and or suggestions!!
  8. Our day in Boston coming to an end. Had a chance to take my parents too see the USS Constitution. And check out some other cool sites in Boston. Had lunch at Boston Sail Loft for some of my favorite Chowda, fish and chips and of course lobster rolls.
  9. Officially off of ship Disembarkation was super simple for my wife and I. But my parents stated they waited about 20 min which is still better than most other ports. We all did walk off with our own luggage. We left our room at 8am and where standing outside by 810AM. My parent's by 830. Customs will be on deck 4 of ship checking passports as you walk off ship, once you do that a few more steps and you officially scan your sea pass card and walk down ramp off of ship. View of dock as you get out. Left view Right view As you get out of Pier there are numerous buses for excursions and possible pre paid transport. Down to the left end of port there is information for transport. Also bathrooms by Door B.
  10. Our final mela in MDR. Sukayani and Kenyah 2 of the finest people we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. They provided the best service I have ever experienced on an RCL ship. Prompt , polite, and always over the top type service. Hopefully you guys get them as your wait staff team.
  11. I searched around the outside of ship. Nothing to suggest any Starlink installations.
  12. Voom. We purchased a Voom surf and stream package. Speeds are pretty terrible, but decent enough for email, teams chat, Whatsapp, Google Duo/meet, and social media. Streaming was iffy, Just basic YouTube shorts took time to buffer and play. Netflix- once your show buffered it played well. Kudo's to Netflix algorithm for streaming. Amazon could not get app to open Whatsapp and Duo/meet carrier Wifi Calls were very clear and I was able to use almost everywhere on ship. Speeds were al over place . Fastest I I observed was in Izumi. I used Fast app to test as speed test was never able to find a server .
  13. Wind was at 30 knots and 9 foot swells according to Capt Thor. But now as of 1PM ship time wind has subsided and seas are looking calm.
  14. MDR lobster was decent, but not as soft succulent and fresh tasting as the one in Portland. Stops were Portland, St John, Sydney and Bar Harbor was canceled. Currently up in Viking and it's super windy. Access to deck 12 has been blocked due to wind conditions.
  15. What does 2am look like? Pizza, beer and solitude . BTW the harsh winds have subdued. Nicer ride home tonight.
  16. Up in Viking Crown as usual, and it's crazy windy.. boat is a rocking. Hitting some pretty storm winds. Unfortunately poor choice of music in Viking Crown tonite. Think 1912 .. Cocktail seems appropriate Le French Martini
  17. lobster 🦞 tail night I'm MDR. Bold move...after having Maine Lobster in Maine 😂😂.
  18. The MY Time MDR lines and wait times are borderline annoying. We tend to be in line by 615 ish. So plan accordingly, and most importantly don't beat up on staff, they are truly doing their best. If anything I would ble upset with RCL management for sailing at capacity, without having the staff to accommodate Fuller ships.
