Easy.. based on personal experience! When you board go directly to MDR. There should be someone who can assist with large GROUP reservations. We have done this numerous times, and have had no issues getting spots for us. We have had groups as large as 20. (to make it easy for them have all staterooms and reservation numbers on hand, as it will help process go a lot smoother) Tipping the person is also a good idea, As they will remember you during the cruise and be more than eager to help you when checking in daily for the MRD. We have done for Oasis, Anthem, Voyager and Allure. Good luck.

Or can I make multiple purchase and equal the 1K to get the point's? reason being I already have my cruise next month and already purchased the DBP, so now I am looking at purchasing some additional stuff on other cruise's I have booked down the road. I sail in about 37 days. I still have not received my cabin assignment. Still says GTY (with bar code trick). Not worried at all. Worst case I show up is they put us up in a suite.. LOL!! Pretty typical for GTY on popular or smaller vessels. I will probably see a room assignment within 15 days of sailing.

I had to call several times for my Stock OBC to show up. Annoying yes, but in the end well worth the call.

Thanks for info! Just took a few hours for it to update on my cruise planner! Just looked and it was applied! Have to say AMEX TA is top notch. They were able to get me moved to a GTY Balcony (from a GTY inside) after final payment because the rates for my upcoming cruise dropped significantly. No price increase either! Fjord's cruise just got even more exciting for me. Wife and I had already planned early days to get up to the deck's for the deep Fjord's passages. Now I can just roll out of bed to the balcony.. LOL!! Keeping it a secret from the wife! Want to surprise her!

bumping this up. The OBC provided by AMEX , are they OBC you will see in your account immediately via cruise planner? Or are these OBC's you will see deposited to your account once on board? My experience with AMEX bases TA it super positive. Much better than any other TA's I have used in the past!

Never had an issue getting up opened can/bottles of beer to take back to room. Always make friends with bartenders and tip well. On a side note. On a particular sailing the ship had just com back from Europe so some of the bars had random Euro only beers. I inquired 1 day about them with one of our regular bartenders. Well he decided to go out of his way and rounded up about 6 different beers for me, and gave them to me the next day. Talk about amazing aboave and beyond type of service! Totally unexpected and an amazing surprise.

Yes, Yes and Yes. Still one of my all time favorite cruises. Depends on your budget, as Alaska peak season is $$$. We did NCL as at the time they were offering all in promotions with Air. Price was too good to pass up. Look for an itinerary that will satisfy what you like to do. We are avid wild life enthusiasts. So we made sure Juneau and Yukon Territory were on there.

You will NOT be denied boarding. We have sailed Alaska (4 years ago with NCL) and also a CA/NE (Sept 2022 with RCL) with 1 person who was in a similar situation. They had no issues boarding cruise from US port's of Seattle and Boston. They did however not attempt to get off in Canada, as a just in case their set sail card set off an alert stating they are not allowed to enter Canada. Enjoy beautiful Alaska and believe me you wont miss much in the port of Victoria.

Yes, Irina from Good Vibes quartet told us the same thing when we sailed Harmony for NYE. This was our 2nd time seeing them as we enjoyed them on Oasis in April. Jazz on 4 is one of my favorite attractions on Oasis class ships. Very disappointed when I heard the news. But I understand the move, as most nights Jazz on 4 rarely had a crowd. Some of the best music/musicians can be found playing in here. Will be nice to see them playing in the Music Hall and or Dazzles. Larger crowds of ppl being exposed to some very talented musicians. NOW: If they tell me Frankie and the Dreamers are gone, I will never cruise RCL again.. LOL!!! 🙂. J/K

No. Our NYE Harmony trip was filled with underage kids out after 2AM. Made the wait times at Sorrento's unbearable.. LOL! 🙂

We are recently off of Harmony for NYE sailing. We had a party of 12. -As soon as I boarded I went to MTD reservation desk for GROUPS. Slipped the guy a $20. He reserved me the same spot for 12 ppl every night. We maybe only waited 5 minutes max to be seated nightly, as opposed to when I sailed with my wife and my parents. We would que up in line to be seated and averaged 20-30 minutes to be seated. One night my wife went to let them know we were here in the MTD line , guy told her it would be about 45 min wait. So I proceeded to the other desk (front right desk in MTD) and checked in with my guy. We were seated within 5 minutes by our head waiter. (to make it easy for the person making the reservations for you , be sure to write down all the room numbers so they can make reservations quicker for you) Good Luck!

We are doing the same in June 2023. Our Artic cruise ends back in Amsterdam. Wife and I will be taking the train to Brussels and stay there for 2 nights and fly home to USA from Brussels. We are taking the THALYS train system. Very easy to navigate and use. Train seems to get us to Brussel ZUID/ MIDI train station in about 2.5 hours. Prices vary wildly from $58 to $150 euros. Well while on board Harmony OTS for NYE we booked the Jewel OTS Artic Cruise. Hit's all the deep Fjord's and does the Artic Crossing. So it essentially is doing everything I wanted to do and see. Downside is, the excursions seem to be super slim picking's and are selling out quickly. So Glad this forums exists, so I can check on some 3rd party excursions or DIY tours and gather info.

As the title states. A few things I want to mention. Free IN-APP texting works, but has a few issues. Plus side it's now FREE. Sailing at full capacity, but as always you can find yourself alone we had pool all to our selves in the AM for about 2 hours while in Cozumel this AM. Stowaway Pianist onboard Harmony! He is a riot. We rode the elevator with him and 7 of my family member's Sang a few bars of Sweet Caroline.. LOL ANd the most important observation! SPACE X Starlink is on board . WHIle in port speeds are blazing fast, when compared to the old satellite system RCL used to carry In port Cozumel on my Laptop: Ill update when we are at sea the speed I see. Can't find the tests I did earlier in the week. Guess we are lucky as we are getting AM/PM service from our room attendant, food in MDR has been typical RCL fare, menu changes daily as always , bar service has been amazing! Staff on board also amazing! Also ship mad a hard 180 degree turn because an orange raft was spotted. No one was found to be in orange raft. Hopefully they were rescued or were part of the Celebrity ship that rescued ppl on their way to Cozumel. The abrupt turn caused the pool water to cascade over ledge and down into central park. I have video I will post up once video downloads.

Same boat as you. 12 PPL , 2 seniors and 1 infant Leaving Chicago for FLL for Harmony 31st cruise. Our SW Flight is Friday, But we already have 2 cars booked and leaving on Thursday so we have 2 days to get into FLL and make our hotel reservation for Friday PM. We are Stopping midway in Georgia for an overnight stay. We rented 1 way down, hoping the Southwest situation gets resolved by the time we need to fly home. I don't trust SW to get their act together this week, looks like their main issue is getting staff moved to correct locations due to outdated computer system they use. So it is a staffing issue and the fact that Southwest uses a point to point system as opposed to a HUB style system, add to their dilemma's. So they pretty much have staff trapped all over the USA without any direction on where they are to be, or an effecient system to get them where they need to be. Very disappointing as I am a frequent SWA customer.

Thanks for the thread, we sail her in 2 weeks.! How crowded does it seem sailing at capacity.?? We sailed Oasis at about 4500 passengers and felt like the right amount of ppl for this class ship. Curious on how 6200+ ppl will feel like for NYE.
