Yes,that's a compelling argument for the change on a normal ocean going vessel. I will be on Pursuit at the end of August to get a feel for the new class. I too am getting a little tired of some disadvantages on Seabourn against what seems to be a vast improvement on the newer Silversea ships. Thanks for getting back to me on this. Cruise lines have rules but rarely are they enforced. Staff try their best to enforce them but will not get back up from upon high. Debt is real and cruise lines will take Anyone's money.

Seabourn has the slightly more unusual ports that you wouldn't always go to. It's a small point but of interest to me. I like the Quest and it's size so that might sway me also.

Better ports on the Seabourn itinerary. It's a tough one as Silversea ship is excellent. Both will be good whichever you choose.

I like the newer ships from Silversea. More choice of dining venues and generally a better design than the older ships. Try one,then you'll know.
