  1. The location is in the UK Purfleet Quay King's Lynn Norfolk
  2. Nowhere for guests. Inside for crew. You can wear a mask in the theatre or other heavily populated areas if you are more comfortable doing so.
  3. I got the recipe many years ago. No I don't have it any more.
  4. They are so good that Windstar kept them on the menu when they bought the three small Seabourn ships.
  5. If you are prepared to pay that final payment then you must be happy with the price otherwise you wouldn't do it. I have seen many cruises go up in price as the time goes by and also seen many cruises that go down in price. Enjoy the cruise, its not really about the money is it.๐Ÿ˜
  6. Never been on a ship that doesn't have lobster available. I'll avoid the Cloud.
  7. Best avoid those just in case you get noisy crew which can happen. On the upside, there is no foot traffic from other guests.
  8. Get on as a passenger Get off as cargo
  9. Well done Fletch. I did love Porridge. We call the outside dining facility Wind and Pixx if you get my meaning. Doesn't a proper Paella have snails in it? I can also confirm that Cote Rotie goes with almost anything. Dominos,Subway,Thomas Keller and Alain Ducasse.
  10. You can never complain about food on any ship if that is what you serve up at home ๐Ÿ˜
  11. Next time on a cruise stay away from the French toast just in case ๐Ÿ˜
  12. I agree, not much use trying to get a reservation online when it might not agree with you once on board. Cabins seem a touch small but as you say Premium, whatever that means.
  13. Indoors is much better especially if you dine at 20.30 like us. Cocktails at 19.45 for us and it's usually dark outside by then. On the Encore and Ovation it is always the TK bar for cocktails on the sofa listening to the piano then it's just a few steps for dinner.
  14. Cloak and dagger or smoke and mirrors perhaps. You experienced what should actually happen on a ship. Your needs were accomodated and met. Much better than logging on at 02.00 in the middle of the night to get a restaurant reservation. That's not luxury is it?
  15. I can't understand why you would come to Cruise Critic for clear answers. Having ten or twenty different answers is much more fun ๐Ÿ˜€
  16. I was born in Greenwich, that's why I am never late for anything and always on time. ๐Ÿ˜
  17. Embarking or disembarking in Venice is now a pain. The only way is to have a private transfer to avoid aggravation.
  18. None of this sounds like luxury cruising. I though Viking was a one class operation but clearly not if you cannot book a restaurant because you have booked a steerage class cabin ๐Ÿ˜
  19. Lovely stuff Jeff although 01.00 in the middle of the night is hard to get my head around.
  20. We tended to gravitate here for dinner in August.Never a poor meal and some special orders accommodated. Coral the Maitre d' is such a lovely girl. Brilliant the Sommelier is a nice guy and looked after us and our wine needs in a professional and fun manner.
