I often wonder when I see some comments on these boards. There is someone on the Viking boards that on several evenings has not been given a wine list.He tells us about the inclusive wine not being to his liking. Does he ask the waiter for a wine list,No Always ask for whatever you might want on a ship and you might get it rather than staying silent and posting later on the boards about something lacking on your cruise.

I am thinking that you need to take a cruise Keith so that you can get back on track 😀

Exactly why I like Seabourn. I don't do included tours and never would. I generally book my own flights unless Seabourn has better rates on Business class flights. I get free laundry,dry cleaning and pressing and 25% discount off the wine list. A free seven day cruise for every 140 days sailed and I get free unlimited WiFi. There are a few other perks which I may or may not use but most of all I get excellent service from a very hard working crew. What's not to like 😁

There is no comparison between the two lines. The Ovation is a lovely ship and service will be very different from Celebrity. Generally you do get what you pay for with cruise lines. Have a great time and come back and tell us how you enjoyed it.

What a shame that you didn't mention to the waiter that you liked wine lists then you might have had one.

Sarah Brightman is the Godmother of the Seabourn Encore and she wanted to pay a visit during the summer for a few days. She did offer to sing for the guests which was much appreciated.

I loved those jackets and hats,I'm surprised that the charity shop hasn't sold them yet.

I agree,Silversea could do a lot better in the entertainment department. I believe a couple of cruise directors have gone to Seabourn as they are valued at Seabourn unlike Silversea.
