We’re doing a 21 night rt Boston to Panama Canal (not full transit) on HAL in Oct 24. Other than our first cruise on NCL we’ve only done Celebrity (& 4 Royal). I kind of feel like we’re jumping ship!
Some update on Les’s brother. He was moved to rehab today but isn’t doing great. His wife moves to home hospice tomorrow. We’re so glad we had such good visits with them last month. Their daughters said it was the last good day they had.
Oh Melissa! How fabulous for you! I’ll keep my fingers crossed that you get it
our granddaughter (17) applied for a job in a clothing store for after school. She wore a nice dress & jean jacket & her boots (all items she’d bought at that store). The manager hired her on the spot as she ‘looked like she was ready to go to work’. She’s ecstatic
Personally, I wouldn’t bring it, it would take up a lot of room in a suitcase with the hoop & petticoat. At least on Princess you’ll have access to an ironing room.
my earlier comment about being the only one in a gown should’ve said one of the only in a truly formal gown. Very few tuxes also
We’ve sailed several times since the restart on different cruise lines. We haven’t had our luggage (or all of it) before early traditional dinner on any of them.
We never travel day of cruise any longer. We usually cruise Celebrity. Their first & last nights are casual & we wear what we boarded on the first night & usually what we plan to fly on the next day on the last night
I bought a really comfortable pair of sparkly wedges from DSW (Kelly&Kate brand) for a recent wedding. I was amazed how comfy they were, they’ve been added to my cruise bag
Um, you pay for them when you book them. If you haven’t paid then they are just in your cart & you won’t have them on board. The sale ends today, I’d pay quickly
Congratulations Laurie! So you started in banking when you were 6? Nice that your coworkers recognized this big achievement (as they should)
I’d love to see pictures of your finished den.
have a fabulous cruise!! I’d move your passport up to your critical list with your hearing aid batteries & prescription sunglasses!!
we’ve done a lot to the house this year too, outside & in; it is a good feeling to see it completed. We did our upstairs bathroom converting it to a walk-in shower; redid our big deck & cut down some trees (our big yard now looks huge!). Melody
