Les is home from gallbladder surgery. Doing well & napping in his recliner!!

Les is home from his gallbladder surgery & napping comfortably in his recliner. These Natuzzi leather power recliners have paid for themselves many times over!!! 4 tiny incisions with superglue no stitches His eye is an ongoing issue. The detachment is healing; however, he’ll need more surgery (in both eyes to repair tears & scar tissue) after we return from Hawaii in June I’m going to have a nap! Les was first surgery. At hospital at 0500 with surgery at 0700. Home at 1130 Melody

Well the eclipse isn’t a big deal for us. We’re at a retina doctor appt & I don’t think they’d appreciate us running out to see it!! Good luck Lois

I’m so glad to have a Jim & Iain treasure to follow while I recover from my February fall while on Silhouette (rushing to helipad & biffed it big time). I’m having a reverse shoulder replacement next week. Had to delay my surgery as hubs just had detached retina surgery (on same day he was supposed to have gallbladder surgery! His gallbladder is now this week). Getting older is not for the faint of heart!! thank you for the great list of audiobooks…we’ll both be using this list while we recover. Safe journey & can’t wait for more great posts! Melody

His bday is the 16th. We celebrated early because of the gb surgery. We’re calling it bday month!

Decided to have Les’s bday 10 days early as he has the gallbladder surgery on Wednesday. The girls outdid themselves, our son FaceTimed in. We had a lovely day. Melody

Exciting for Margaret & Laurie with the eclipse! Les has retina appt on Monday (vision is very slowly starting to improve ❤️. He still can’t see well enough to drive. His gallbladder surgery is Wednesday where we’re not sure what he’ll feel like eating afterwards we’re having his 75th bday celebration early on this Saturday my shoulder replacement is the 17th. Thanks for asking! Melody
