@97060Shelly & @Thrak thank you for the tips! We are elite and get free laundry, but I have heard people saying it is taking a long time to get laundry back. Staying in a suite last time we cruised in 2020 right before covid and it still took 3 days to get laundry back and some things missing and we got other peoples laundry, so thought I would give it a try to do our own. What is the best time to go to the laundromat when it is not busy?? 5 AM? Turnaround day? Also, do they ever run out of tokens? Any advice you have would be welcome.

Stupid questions, but where are the tokens? Also, how long does it take for the washer to finish? Got 35 min for dryer. Just wondering so can walk away in be back in time before it shuts down. Thanks.

Usually it is the first day they offer them. Of course, we have not cruised since 2020. So many changes, wasn't sure if that was still offered as an option. I know there were three tiers to choose from.

Thanks for your review. We are doing the Caribbean Princess in 2024 and were on it before. Some things I have heard: One that there is smoking by the crew on deck 7 aft at all hours of the night? Is that true still? Also, are they still having a problem with toilets not working? Thanks so much.

I think people want to know what to do and what is considered normal. I realize no situation is the same, but most people want to do the right thing and not undertip or overtip. That's where Cruise Critic and all of you who know so much come in handy so much. I can't speak for everyone, but it is so very helpful to us and I don't know what we would do without all of you helping out. Just a little tidbit, when we were so young and it was the first time we traveled anywhere, we went to Jamaica and at the airport, we had one bag, the bagger took our bag (that was after they searched through our underwear--never knew that happened) we never asked him to take it, but then he put his hand out to my husband and my husband shook his hand and said thank you. Friends we were with took care of the tip and let us know in the cab how things worked. We were embarrassed. We just didn't know better and there was no internet back then. LOL Hopefully some good laughs. We still talk about that! So, yes, we make sure we tip! I think people ask questions here to know what is the right thing to do.

LOL. I would surely hope they clean the chairs after the cruise. Thus, probably why they sit on the napkin. I couldn't do it, but of course, we wouldn't have to worry about what to wear! Here we haven't cruised since 2020 and are looking at 2024 and I wanted to get dressed up as we haven't done anything and am wondering if getting dressed up in a thing of the past. One of the things I always enjoyed.

On HAL we asked the waiter about that and he said they sit on their napkins! LOL. He was serious.

Are they still letting the crew smoke aft on promenaede deck? We are on an aft on Deck 9 corner suite in 2024 and are concerned about the smoke issue if it is still happening. Thanks.
