  1. Perhaps someone currently on board Brilliance can chime in if the hours aren't on the app until you get on board.
  2. We were talked into booking Harmony of the Seas, and took it last year from Barcelona to Port Canaveral. Since it was just around the ending all the covid hype, we only sailed with 1500 pax. I can't imagine sailing with 6000+ pax. Just not my cup of tea. We prefer ships with 2,000 - 2,500 pax size.
  3. I've read conflicting reports. It would be great if all ships had that policy. We're doing a B2B this month. It would be nice if I could go down in the morning and get 5 beers for me and 5 for my wife to put in my stateroom for the next cruise.
  4. With milk and sugar, don't you lose the taste of "tea"?
  5. Yes, bed is by the balcony. Numerous times I have found that spreadsheet has errors in it, just like what you pointed out. You have to confirm but verify.
  6. Celebrity uses Terminal 6. We pre-booked, and got there early. It's not a garage. It's an open parking lot. You drop off your luggage then drive to the parking lot entrance. Go all the way to the back. It will be easier to get to the terminal entrance and closer when you return with your luggage to cart to your car.
  7. Yes, and aft of the hump, the angled staterooms 8252 and 8256 starboard side, and 8279 and 8283 on the port side.
  8. I was able to bid on a RoyalUp on Brilliance 5 Nov 2023 TA just the other day.
  9. If you are coming forward from the flat side of the hump, 8232 starboard and 8259 port side, the 1st and 3rd staterooms on the angle have the largest balcony (3x), while the 2nd and 4th staterooms on the angle have large, but only (2x). Same for going aft of the flat side. Does that make sense?
  10. We were on Summit this past July. You can order off the MDR menu if there is nothing on the Blu menu that fits your fancy. One night we ordered off the Blu kids menu (It was only on the app) -- they had a 4oz filet which was outstanding. It was plenty of food for us. If you have a big appetite, order two of them. 😃
  11. Yes, those are the staterooms with larger balconies. 8226 and 8230 on the starboard side are the largest (3x normal) of the four and have bed by the bathroom. On the port side, 8253 and 8257 are the largest, and have the bed by the balcony. The other ones are larger (2x normal) than those on the flat portion of the hump.
  12. We're going to pay the equivalent to getting the beverage package. With the current system pre-pandemic it costs around $22 a day for a 4-device package. Now they are charging up to $70 a day, but you can get a good deal for $45 a day. 😵
  13. I bring bottles of Mr & Mrs "T" Bold & Spicy bloody mary mix on board every cruise, both Royal and Celebrity, and have never been questioned.
  14. I usually search on line for my cruises then call my TA for a price. Sometimes they will have Group Rates and give extra perks such as up to 10% OBC, specialty dining, etc. Shop around for your TA. Some give better perks than others.
  15. The ship's wifi has become super expensive. You used to get the 4-device stream & surf for around $22 per day, pre-pandemic. Now it sometimes cost anywhere from $70 per day or when on sale, $45 per day. They've completely gone out of their minds!
  16. Downtown was mostly closed on a Sunday when we were there. You can get a reasonable tour and visit some of the sites around the island.
  17. Is this chart still in affect? If so, a lot more than $50: Platinum Balcony Discount When Booking More than 6 Months from Sailing Date: $ 50 * for sailings of 3-5 nights $100* for sailings of 6-9 nights $200* for sailings of 10+ nights Emerald Balcony Discount When Booking More than 6 Months from Sailing Date: $ 75 * for sailings of 3-5 nights $125* for sailings of 6-9 nights $225* for sailings of 10+ nights Diamond Balcony Discount When Booking More than 6 Months from Sailing Date: $125* for sailings of 3-5 nights $225* for sailings of 6-9 nights $325* for sailings of 10+ nights Diamond Plus Balcony Discount When Booking More than 6 Months from Sailing Date: $150* for sailings of 3-5 nights $250* for sailings of 6-9 nights $350* for sailings of 10+ nights Pinnacle Club Balcony Discount When Booking More than 6 Months from Sailing Date: $175* for sailings of 3-5 nights $275* for sailings of 6-9 nights $375* for sailings of 10+ nights *When booking less than 6 months from sailing date subtract $25 from the dollar amount.
  18. On Deck 10 is a small section on the port side on the pool deck. No smoking back aft at the Sunset Bar.
  19. We were probably on that same Feb Constellation cruise to the ABC islands. She told us she was moving to Eclipse to bring her back into service, and we sailed with her on Eclipse the following May from HNL to Vancouver. She probably is due now for a vacation. I could take her or leave her. Cruise Directors don't make or break my cruise experience.
  20. Just saw a t-shirt today on a guy in a local bar -- Fat People Are Hard To Kidnap. 😄
  21. My experience in boarding in Rome, they don't really check for liquids, wine, water, when going thru security, just weapons, and the like.
  22. I see it is your thread, but it's been hijacked from its original premise. 😉
