  1. My offer is RU3 which says "free cheers for you", so if it doesn't apply to hubs it isn't worth the additional $250 that the cabin would be. Especially since we're currently booked under a casino rate which has DOU for both + casino $$, and we have the $600 OBC because it's a rebooked cruise.

Is your room on the end?  If so I have stayed in the opposite one. The beds were side by side, we had them pit together. It had a couch as well.

The couch will be on your left when you walk in. The large bathroom door with no step up to it on the right. The shower is walk in too and large. The beds will be straight ahead perpendicular to the door, with the headboards to the left. It is a very large room.

Yes, it is on the last one port side. My PVP told me the beds do not go together to make a king, which is fine, I'm cruising with a friend, but on the pictures I found online it doesn't show where the window is or really the layout of the room. I was just curious.

  3. Never had this happen before.... I called to check on a price drop on a premier (I thought) I have booked for May. The rep told me it was booked under a dealers choice!! I am 100% positive I booked it under a premier offer. I even printed out the page from my offers when I booked because Carnival doesn't show the offer code on the booking. Luckily she was very nice and changed it to premier. I almost didn't call because it is a small price drop, but now I'm glad I did! I would have been very upset!

I also have a premier cruise booked for April so I had her double check that one and it is still correct.

    Anyone ever have this issue?

Can someone give me the email for the casino so I can email them and get this in writing? Thanks

  4. I have also been looking at them for my cruise in May. They offer a tour that is a little bit of everything which is what I'm looking for. Kind of hesitant booking outside of cruiseline having never been to Jamaica, but trying to gather as much info as possible before making that decision.

From my experience it depends. I have attending P&D parties when they checked everyone’s invitation at the door and I have attended parties when they didn’t check anything, so basically anyone could have walked in. The only times I have seen them check invitations is when there were a lot of Diamonds and Platinums on the cruise. No matter what they do on your cruise, they will let your husband attend with you.

Invitations are by name.  They will not be invited

So, basically it's not consistent throughout the ships??

I have been able to in the past under the following conditions

    (1) the room I had already booked was in the same category (inside) as the room that the casino offer was for

     - AND -

    (2) There was still availability to book that particular cruise under the offer code for the casino offer,

I know I'm getting technical here and please forgive me, does the availability only have to be in the category of room, like balcony, inside, etc, or does if have to be the same category like 8E or 9E, etc?

What I don't like is that once booked, there's nothing on the booking summary that shows what fare code you're booked under.  I have to remember to write it on my invoice so that when checking prices, I'm sure I'm looking at the same code.

I have to agree, I have one in April under a premier and one in May under a hot streak. I keep forgetting which is which!

I did call Carnival about this and was told if they can still pull up the offer (even if it's expired) then you can get a price drop. Really hate conflicting answers when I call Carnival, I need to get a new PVP that knows casino offers. I had one years ago (before I got any casino offers) but didn't really get any help from her and it was just easier to book myself.
