Hi. I have not cruised with Azamara since early 2019. I have been surprised while viewing their updated website at the lack of promotion of the inclusion of selected spirits and wine. Unless I am missing something, I had to go all the way to the FAQ to even find this mentioned. In the "Why Azamara" section included basic liquor is not even mentioned. I wonder if there is a possibility that this inclusion may be eliminated. I'm glad I found this thread as verification that this does indeed still exist for Azamara at this time.

I have noticed that on 12/18/2023 there are three ships scheduled for HMC; Nieuw Statendam, Zaandam, and Carnival Sunrise. Do Carnival and HAL ships use HMC at the same time? I have been told that this never happens, but was wondering about other's experience. All three ships are currently scheduled there on 12/18. Thanks for any feedback.

I was looking at a potential cruise on Nieuw Statendam on 12/17/23 and I just noticed that on 12/18 there will be three ships at HMC; Nieuw Statendam, Zaandam, and Carnival Sunrise. I was under the the clearly-mistaken impression that they didn't mix Carnival and HAL ships as HMC at the same time. This is so disappointing and really degrades the HAL brand even further. (BTW Carnival Sunrise is on a 5-day out of Miami). Have others experienced this? I think I will skip this cruise.

What sort of live music did you have on your sailing in the Sunset Bar, Martini Bar, Eden, etc? So far our cruise only lists a DJ. I know the schedule is still a work in progress at this point. Does Celebrity allow Sky Suites to check in earlier than the scheduled arrival time on the express pass? I know that the higher level suites can pretty much show up at any time, but I'm not certain about the lower suites. I have tried to move my arrival time, but there aren't any earlier times available in the app. Thanks for sharing your experience. Thank you

From your experience, can Sky Suite-level guests arrive at the port at any time or are they bound to their scheduled wellness-check time chosen at check in. Does anyone know how much longer Captain Kate will be with the Beyond until her break?

I haven't dined in Luminae since 2016. I am on Beyond 3/5. I'm looking forward to trying it again. One thing I've noticed about the menu is a lack of salads in the Appetizer selections for the dinner menus. Maybe predinner salads just aren't in vogue these days.

This is part of the Martini Bar menu that I see in the app for 3/5 Beyond sailing. I am assuming the pricing is for small versus large martinis, maybe?

Is it the case that the large martini is now priced just above the limit for the premium package? I noticed in the martini bar menu that I can see in the app for Beyond, the price $15/$18. If large martinis are no longer included in the premium package, I am sure that Celebrity has gone off the rails.

I just found this statement on Celebrity's website: For just $20 more a day, you can extend your Classic choices to include non-alcoholic staples too, like morning coffee from Cafe al Bacio or a green juice at The Spa Cafe & Juice Bar. Cool off at the pool with an ice-cold Coca-Cola, plus enjoy unlimited water in one of our recyclable aluminum bottles. This sounds like the classic package does not include soft drinks, etc. Would this be a change?

I am happy to see this thread as I have the same question. This is what the FAQ says is included in the Classic Package; The Classic Drink Package includes an incredible array of beers, spirits, cocktails, liqueurs, frozen drinks, and wines by the glass for up to $10 per serving. This package also included a 15% discount on all wines by the bottle. This description does not even mention soft drinks. The FAQ does list soft drinks for the Premium Package. This is very confusing.

The fact that HAL no longer provides an after-dinner butter mint pretty much sums up things up for me. It was the little things that made HAL special. Those little things are mostly gone. Carnival Corporation is really the pits and in my opinion has ruined the lines it owns.

For an upcoming December cruise on Rotterdam, I am finding no option to make reservations for the main dining room. On my previous two cruises (March and May 2022) I was able to make these reservations online. Is this a recent change? Are passengers normally permitted to make main dining room reservations prior to the cruise. Thanks for any feedback.

I am always surprised that gin and vodka martinis are not listed as a complimentary cocktail. Martinis require vermouth so maybe this isn't included because vermouth isn't complimentary? Martinis are also very expensive to make since they are mostly gin or vodka. I seem to remember having complimentary martinis a long time ago on Azamara.

I was also on the Sojourn December 10, 2019 cruise from Miami. It was a nice cruise. Prices for December 2022 are higher than I recall from December 2019. Maybe I don’t know the best places to look for attractive December 2022 deals.

The excursions that were canceled for me were both in Sydney NS. The first was “A Taste of the Cabot Trail”. I then booked a bird watching cruise on Cape Brenton Island which was also canceled. I don’t remember the exact name of the second excursion. Both were canceled due to low bookings.
