  1. My experience on Silhiouette last April was the smoothies were in the Premium package but I am not sure if they are included in the classic package or not. The description of both the Premium and Classis is silent on the smoothies but both packages state " Aqua Spa Fresh Juices" are included. One other thing to point out -- no sharing of drinks. You cannot use your package to purchase a drink for someone else.
  2. Granted, I should have said only free with premium. But I think everyone knew what I meant.
  3. I like Kraken for mixed drinks but I like Ron Zacapa 23 either neat or with a large ice cube.
  4. Thanks for the response. We’ve made reservations for the shows onboard and are looking forward to those. We are not big users of speciality restaurants but have a lunch at chops and dinner at 150 booked. I am sure we’ll also eat at Izumi at least once, usually for lunch. We do not sunbathe nor do we spend time poolside or on the flow rider. I would have liked to experience Playmakers and El Loco but maybe next time we sail with Royal. Thank you for your input. As you can see from above, we are not prone to relaxing in the sun and most of our outdoor time is usually in the shade of our balcony or on the Suite Sundeck.
  5. Rum is another place where the PDP is worth it over the classic. I must have my Ron Zacapa.
  6. I know you can get Bourbon & Peaches in the Retreat Lounge and assume you can get any of the others there as well. I believe that on the S class the cocktails come from the Passport Bar.
  7. Apple, cranberry, or orange is what the menu shows.
  8. yes, you can order multiple appetizers, entree’s (in main dining rooms, they may charge for extra entree’s in some of the specialty restaurants), and desserts. I almost always do on lobster night to have a surf & turf.
  9. Last week the kids menu was showing for our April Millennium sailing but now it is not. I know when I last checked it said 5-oz sirloin instead of the filet.
  10. Ah, after our sailing dates so no need for me to be concerned. We only have next month’s cruise as our only cruise on Royal for 2023.
  11. Any specific reason? We’ve not said Oasis class since 2019 but will be on Harmony next month, so I’d be interested in your perspective and especially things/places on the ship to avoid.
  12. It does not make sense that an Internet connection over WiFi is required 24x7. There are too many places you could not go because of a lack of public WiFi. Think train, planes, and automobiles. There is no free public internet everywhere those travel. Hell, you cannot get cellular or WiFi in some stores I have been in, and on the Metro.
  13. I am confused by the talk of Port Canaveral and Miami. I am on Harmony next month and we are sailing out of Ft. Lauderdale?
  14. The only place I heave heard of the casino being open when docked was an overnight in Bermuda. But I think that was a special case for some reason.
  15. Here is a thread where this is answered in detail.
  16. Our last cruise was in April of last year and there were plenty of items on the classic and premium beverage list that were not available due to supply chain issues. However, I found the substitutes acceptable in most cases. Getting the premium package always give me an opportunity to try things that I might not have tried otherwise, without feeling guilty about not finishing a beverage I did not like, e.g. peaty single malts. I also like telling the sommelier that I am aboard for x days and would prefer not to have the same wine twice unless it is the best to pair with the dish I am having.
  17. That works for me. Both make excellent rum old fashioned’s.
  18. Regular coffee and orange juice, along with water, tea, and lemon aid is available for no charge in the restaurants. Premium coffee’s, fresh squeezed orange juice, sodas, wine, beer, and alcoholic beverages are charged a la carte.
  19. If it’s still on the menu. I’ve heard it had been taken off the menu on some ships.
  20. In my time in the service we were taught the proper way to move about a ship was always, "up and forward on the starboard side, down and aft on the port side." This was especially helpful during emergencies as this help the various response personnel keep from running into each other. As for walking in passage ways, I always take the same approach, stay to your right no matter which way you were headed. Maybe that is the "American" way but it is what it is.
  21. My wife will be happy to hear this. She's a huge fan on the French Onion Soup on the classic menu.
  22. I would strongly recommend you verify this as we have never had that happen. What you get as Elite on Celebrity is free drinks, from a select drink menu, in most bars from 5 - 7 PM except for embarkation day.
  23. We were on Celebrity Edge for Valentines Day in 2020, just before the shutdown. Captain Kate held a vow renewal ceremony and there were a lot of participants.
  24. Spa smoothies have never been a part of the classic package. There was even a notice in the package that they were excluded.
