  1. No, We have never sailed out of Texas. Galveston and Baltimore are the only US ports we have not sailed from, yet.
  2. Some of my best times in the Schooner bar have been when there was a solo guitarist on the Radiance Class ships. Those ships have my favorite layout for the Schooner Bar.
  3. I found it in the Suite Lounge the last time I sailed Oasis. I managed to get the last shot out of a bottle in the Schooner Bar on Allure in 2019. Disclaimer: I have not been on a Royal Caribbean cruise since 2019.
  4. Print out a copy of your Set Sail Pass Use a QR Code / Barcode scanner on your mobile phone to scan the bar code. On my iPhone it says invalid barcode but at the bottom it show Barcode and then 10 digit number a dash and a four digit number that is our cabin number.
  5. I just looked at available "Gifts & Gear" for our August 28 sailing and no blankets of any kind to be seen. You can buy a beach set though. just what one wants/needs for Alaska in August/September.
  6. I am saddened by the fact I do not see any C&W favorites. What about "Friends in Low Places", "Boot Skootin' Boogie", "Copper Head Road", etc..
  7. My thoughts are that if you want to know what room you have don't book a gty room. Otherwise, wait and pray for the best.
  8. We are not on your sailing but I notice that on our August 29 sailing the Endicott Arm & Dawes Glacier and Juneau is no longer showing on the Web site itinerary, and on our September 5 sailing Endicott Arm And Dawes Glacier is no longer showing, although Juneau is still showing. I have not heard anything from Royal about changes to the initial itinerary for either of these cruises.
  9. Those are not pictures of the same class room. Not the TC’s - a Junior suite has dressers under the TV, the large balcony ocean view does not.
  10. Because I cannot get Diet Pepsi, Diet Dr Pepper, or Diet Mt Dew on the cruise ship. Also, If there is a wine you like to enjoy, bring it. You never really know what is available on the ship.
  11. I have not been on a Royal Caribbean ship since 2019 but I, as someone else mentioned, remember adding hot water to hit as it was too strong and bitter for my taste. I have yet to receive good coffee from room service. I prefer the coffee served in the dining rooms but sometimes even that is a little bitter.
  12. I saved our vaccination cards photo's on my phone and find it very convenient to select them and upload.
  13. I have often described starbucks coffee as 'cheap beans, over roasted'. I will drink their Frap's and the nitro cold brew but not their regular coffee. I have gotten to the point where I do not drink as much hot coffee anymore but when I do I like to have a little Bailey's added to it.
  14. I have had Kopi Luwak and I did not think it was all that good. A friend of mine roast his own beans and I am able to occasionally beg an 8-oz bag or two from him. I really like his Nicaraguan peaberry. He knows we prefer a milder roast and that's what he give me.
  15. Correct - I have used the same shares for over six years now to receive the $100 OBC on every cruise.
  16. People in suites are permitted to arrive and complete the boarding process one hour before or after that assigned boarding time they were given when they did the check in. So if you were assigned a 1200 boarding time, you can check in any time between 1100 and 1300. I am not 100% sure about Royal Caribbean but on Celebrity there was a health questionnaire that had to be completed prior to boarding and that could be done on-line at any time the day of boarding.
  17. Thank you for confirming our suspicions. Agree 100%. Guess I am committing myself to doing a live review on our sailings. We have not sailed on any of the Quantum class ships previously so cannot compare with anything except Oasis class. We are looking forward to our upcoming Quantum cruises but already know I am going to miss being able to drop into the Suite Lounge anytime between 1100 - 2300 for that free adult beverage.
  18. Can anyone tell me if the free wine and soda offered in the suite lounge is also available in Coastal Kitchen, or do suite guest with out a beverage package pay for wine or soda to go with their meals? I am surprised with over 2000 guest a week there are not more live post about Quantum each week.
  19. Not at all. I just booked our tickets to Seattle for an Alaska cruise next month.
  20. Still nothing being heard regarding our August 29 & September 5th sailings other than no glacier visits showing on either itinerary in the Royal App. It will be interesting to see how things play out.
