  1. A sad time for you all Josy and I cannot imagine what it’s like for you all. But also a time to remember many happy times with them and to celebrate their lives. I will be thinking of you all Michelle
  2. Good morning everyone. Can’t believe it’s Monday again, where do the weeks go? We have not had any snow here and I can feel it feels warmer in the house this morning. I have to be at the dog groomers for 8.30 (not me the dog - although I bet my hubby thinks I look a bit of a dog sometimes) then it’s back home for coffee and Xmas present wrapping. Have a nice day Michelle
  3. I used to live in Langanpreising a village in Bavaria about 20 mins from Munich airport. We used to get lots of snow in winter, there were snow poles each side of the road to lead you out of the village but in the summer it was very warm with outdoor swimming pools everywhere Michelle
  4. We have just come down the M6 on the way back from Whitley Bay, not a great journey but we are home IMG_0296.mov
  5. Hopefully we will see you on Arvia in March for a drink or two Michelle
  6. Hope you have a fabulous cruise on Azura over Xmas. We are moving on 15 Dec, going to an Airbnb for a few nights then to Nidd Hall (Warners) for a couple of nights. Furniture been delivered 23/12 so we will be in a mess this Xmas. The house needs immediate work that’s why we are not moving in straight away. Fortunately we are going out Xmas day and at daughters Boxing Day Michelle
  7. Somewhere warm sounds good to me too. We are about to move house in the next 10 days, beginning to think we should have bought somewhere warmer than the UK Michelle
  8. Have a fantastic time!!! Post some pics to cheer us all up Michelle
  9. This is exactly why I book so early if I know am taking the grandchildren. It seems too far away but it will come soon enough. People think I am mad to book so far ahead Michelle
  10. We are currently driving up to San Whitley Bay, it is very cold. This is going through the lakes
  11. That’s good news, no snow where Sarah is but our daughter in law has just sent a photo of them walking to school in wellies as they have a covering of snow in Whitley Bay. I love the drive up there, the scenery in beautiful although the M6 north is notorious for accidents Michelle
  12. We are coming to Whitley Bay on Friday, I better come prepared for snow then!! Michelle
  13. I would do whatever it takes to help you. It’s no fun been in pain all the time, it’s affects people both physically and mentally. In my opinion try this clinic and get their advice. Twenty years ago I had a slipped disc that caused nerve root compression that stopped my bowels and bladder working so I know what pain you are going through and how soul destroying it can be. I had no option but to have surgery to resolve it, which it has but unfortunately they didn’t operate soon enough and I now have no reflexes in my lower leg. I hope you find a solution to your ongoing problem. It sounds like you have a lovely family who are there to support you. Let us know how you get on. Take care Michelle
  14. I have booked Royal Caribbean August 25 8 nights out if Southampton, promenade view cabin, 2 adults 3 children (17,15 & 12) £97 per night per person. I thought that was a good deal. Same party June 2024 Puerto Pollensa, 7 nights AI £120 per night per person. I do think the prices appear to be increasing but I believe there are some good deals out there Michelle
  15. I didn’t have my specs on when I typed it!! Should read “it’s like a new lease of life” Michelle
  16. Sounds like you have done fantastic, slime a new lease of life for you and so quickly
  17. Morning everyone, it’s a beautiful sunny morning here but cold, my car windscreen has ice on it. Going to my usual ladies coffee morning later. A “guess the baby” quiz has been organised for this morning so I am sure we will be giggling at all our photos. I have done 95% of my Christmas shopping so might start wrapping this afternoon. We have eight grandchildren - it has been expensive!! Plus five of them have birthdays in either December or January Have a lovely day everyone Michelle
  18. Really sorry to hear you reporting this Josy, I will be thinking about you all Michelle
  19. Have a lovely catch up and lunch out. I am meeting some old friends over in Yorkshire tonight, they boys are going out & the ladies are going out so I am looking forward to that. Michelle
  20. Fantastic photos, thank you for letting us follow along with you Michelle
  21. I still buy those for my grandchildren at Easter. Even though my daughter is 32 she still expects one too Michelle
  22. Good Morning everyone, hope you are all ok today. It looks a cloudy but calm morning here today. Hubby has just taken the dogs out for a walk. We are meeting our project manager at 9.30 what is to be our new house(we hope) providing everything goes through. Hopefully moving in December. We can live in the house but there is lots of work to do. Test driving another car this afternoon, a new Hyundai Kona. It looks nice so fingers crossed. Test drove a Kupra Altea on Monday and a Lexus UX yesterday. I have a mobility car and have to change my car as it’s five years old and it’s the maximum length of time they will allow me to keep it and they don’t make it anymore or I would have another. Have a good day everyone Michelle
  23. We are on Arvia too, March 2024 TA. Really looking forward to it Michelle
