  1. If the CBS has a lounge chair, it will recline. However, many CBS on the Jade have standard deck chairs.

  3. @poona1 NCL does not like to deviate very far from their "rules" when using the Latitudes perks. While it might be possible, it actually is not very likely (short of a "medical" deviation... which would need to be pre-arranged).
  4. If the bar has the ingredients, they can make them. Just ask! However, expect to pay extra. (Unless you have the Premium PLUS beverage package, you will pay an upcharge of a few dollars, plus service charge). Here is an easy recipe: Rum Cake Martini: 1.5 oz Kraken Black Spiced Rum, 1 oz. Godiva liqueur (dark creme de cocoa was used on ship instead of Godiva), .5 oz. Chambord, 2 oz. cream (shaken) -- mix all together except cream. Shake cream and pour on top over spoon (so it stays on top). Garnish with raspberries
  5. If you are using standard suitcases, there should not be a problem sliding them under the bed.
  6. I just tried it and had no problems looking up a few destinations for future cruises.
  7. At Harvest Caye you will be able to walk off the ship shortly after it docks. And, you may return to the ship, or leave the ship, as you please (multiple times if you wish). You might choose to pay to eat on the island, or, you can return to the ship for lunch/snack, and go back out to the island again. People complain about the walk, yet it is approximately a quarter of a mile to the entrance. Trams are available if you choose to wait to ride one. The island itself is approximately a mile long (yet, not all of that is assessable to everyone! It might be very hot there! However, there are misting tubes throughout the nature cages/displays which offers the chance to view some animals, birds, and plenty of lovely plants. The island does have some shops offering Belizean's goods. Hopefully, you will enjoy a wonderful day. Use sunscreen, early and often!!!
  8. Perhaps the rules differ for European (and other) countries! Which is a very good reason to refer to appropriate T&Cs.
  9. If the concierge does not address the procedure, be certain that you ask any questions you have regarding the tender process. (Things might be handled slightly differently from ship to ship.)

  13. Since nobody has responded to you, I am replying with our experience from Oct 2022... We booked a one-way transfer from IAH to the Doubletree. The service was great and the driver was very professional. It is likely that the Galveston Hilton would be included in their service.

Sadly, BG did NOT receive any photos on this cruise from the military gathering. 🤔😒 (Perhaps it was placed at someone else's door by a crew member with dyslexia?!) @graphicguy Thank you for setting up the M&G!!! Hopefully, you are fully healed very soon!!!
  15. I've never bothered to try it on the SKY. IF they have a package, it would be very limited usage, since the SPA is quite small. (Not a large "thermal suite")
  16. @ozziebound Unfortunately, many items on NCL's site are out-of-date (and/or poorly worded), especially, within their helpful (or NOT) information. Also, it seems that NCL (post- covid) is no longer providing the same level of supervision for Splash Academy as they did Pre-Covid. I hope your family has a safe and wonderful cruise.

  18. We have enjoyed either 10506, or 10006. Not only is there a forward facing balcony, there is also a side facing balcony. Both are nicely sized, and furnished for different activities. Depending on what we were planning, one balcony (or both) served us nicely. We invited some fellow cruisers to visit for drinks after returning from an excursion once. Aside from the two of us, there were 4 other couples, and a few singles on the front balcony (while we were still in port. (Very windy once the ship got moving!)

Rooms are smaller than on newer ships. The ship is nice and enjoyable, if you don't care about the things that are on the larger ships. We thoroughly enjoyed a 9-day in December 2022!
  20. The first thing you need to know is that not everyone gets invited to bid. Sometimes, if a travel agent was used for the booking, no offer will be given, but, some TAs do participate). And, often it is true you will not get initiation if you booked a "Sail Away" rate. IF you are eligible, you will get an email to bid. Also, you can look to see if there is a message to you in your MY NCL account Message Center. Offers are after "Final Payment" has been made!

  23. Flow water cartons are only included in the upgraded beverage package. Or, certainly Latitudes levels receive one or two bottles each.
  24. I can't truly answer your question, but we once sent laundry out (using the voucher) and it happened to come back on the same day (w/no extra charge). We were pleased, but very surprised!
