Pinching Pennies & Cruising when it comes to food just don't go together. Really disappointing. 😞 Just might be time to spend our vacation and entertainment dollar in other directions..

Doesn't sound to good with the WC coming up and people being stuck on that ship for 275 days. Going to be ALOT of unhappy campers. onboard if conditions like that continue. I always have had the question out of all the Radiance Class ships as to why that ship(Serenade) was picked for the WC. Wonder how they decided? Our next 2 cruises on Royal are both on Jewel. lets hope our experiences are as good as yours was on Jewel. Thanks for your honest recent review of your cruise onboard Serenade.

Would hope the stress testing would be done well before just a month before the WC, whether or not they let you use them or not on those 2 sailings probably hasn't been decided or even talked about yet.

Talk to me about the train ride on Amtrak, did you travel in Coach or Business? We are most likely going to take Amtrak(Northeast Corridor) Business from Roanoke to Newark Penn Station. Is that where you got off the train at? Were your bags safe, did you keep them at the front of the train or all your bags in the overhead? Little concerned because ours is a 14 day cruise so we will have 3 larger suitcases that won't fit in the overhead area. Hoping we will also have some help getting off the train in Newark, shouldn't have a real issue in Roanoke getting on because that is where the train originates from so should be plenty of room for our larger bags. If so did you go the day before your cruise, what hotel did you stay at? how much from hotel to ship in Bayonne, Taxi or Uber?

We just bought some tickets from the lady that sold the Winner the $161 Million winning ticket. Can lightning strike twice in the same spot?🤞🏻 The Lottery Commission was there earlier today and cut the owner a check, I asked how much it was for but the lady said she didn't know. I sure hope she gets a nice bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Didn't know that seems silly for planes that they are building now, you would think they could land a plane no matter what the weight is onboard and anytime. Not making me feel any better knowing this. In an emergency I want the plane getting down ASAP, not waiting to burn it off or dump it somewhere.

My first car in high school was a 1970 Plymouth Duster, it was Blue with a white top............Turned out to be a car where it was fill the Oil and check the gas when going into a gas station. Next car was a 1968 Chevelle SS Fire Engine Red with a black top and shiny mag wheels. Car was totaled when someone rear ended me making a left hand turn on Rt 38, in Mt holly before they put the divider in and the start of jug handles.(A Jersey thing) lol Saw the lady behind me coming fast and not moving to the right around me, Stepped on the gas right before she hit me, it I hadn't done that I would have sure ended up with at least whip lash. This was my 3rd car, A 1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, here is a picture of the car my Mom got made for me, still have this picture hanging up in our Garage in Virginia. It was sharp, had a T-top too. Real eye catcher!

Maybe I misunderstood, but you said on your return flight back to MIA, you had to circle around the Airport to burn off fuel? Was that the real reason or was it just to get an open gate?
