  1. So no restaurant work in your past. Speed of service relates to every part of the process. Some staff work it to get you out of their way. What is ready to go? What did you order? We’re special adjustments chosen? How many beers did the waiter drink last night? Or in the last half hour? On and on stop watch the same orders at your local McDonald’s, you’ll see they come out at various times.
  2. Personally, I like it twice a day, but the wife says it's only once a day from now on.
  3. We were long time holdouts for the pay in cash system. 40% to Waiter, 40% to room steward, 20% to assistant waiter. But, now find it easier to pay the auto gratuities and add where we want. (I paid for college as a cook, we got a percentage from the wait staff)
  4. Wife says not to cut patches, but some find putting a small sticker under the patch to block some dosage makes them usable for smaller folks. She also warns that it is serious medication.

  15. Agreed that would be specialty dining. Specialty dinning is an entire different thing. (Yes, being “That Guy”)
  16. Why do people like specialty Dinning so much? To me it's irritating. 🙂 Recently, I have seen the staff trying to sell off days in the Windjammer on day one and periodically milling around outside venues during the day.
  17. Like any wild animal, I don't disturb them. Wife likes to relocate them to what she apparently thinks is more suitable terrain. Enjoy your cruises.
