  1. Quite a cheapo day out,£10.60 return on the boat and £12 return cable car, that's for 2 of us.2 chicken wraps and chips in Nandos was dearer at £24.
  2. Back in my "white van man" plumbing days I was elite on the boat in the last pic.The Captain never invited me for cocktails though.
  3. Morning all,we're taking our 3 year old grandaughter to the new Barking riverside station this morning. From there the Thames Clipper to the O2,1 hr softplay in the O2 and a return cable car across the Thames to the Excel.Returning on the Thames Clipper.A new experience for us also and being linked to TFL we get 50% with our freedom passes. The grandaughter is free.I remember Barking riverside when I used to play there when I was a kid.It was wasteland dotted with air raid shelters, abandoned gun emplacements and a derelict power station where we used to climb up the coal conveyor belts. Not very H&S now, lol.Great fun on the beaches of the Thames.
  4. You should have gone again ,it'd be a Harrison double.
  5. Now that looks good.I was thinking on the same lines as Indi.Essex supermarkets are quite diverse nowdays,I'll start looking😊.
  6. Obviously you've got duel nationality now.Got to give your area a try🙂
  7. Anything like Welshcakes? When we went to Cardiff last year there was a queue for them stretching outside.Bought a few but found them a bit soft, and sweet. Now,my OHs bread pud is another story, lovely jubbly.
  8. If there's carrots on the menu you must be happy surely😉
  9. A few years back we sailed with 1 cruise number on a repo from Alaska to FL with Princess.Mid cruise we found out it was divided into 3 segments each with its own number. We saw the FCC onboard who gave us 2 extra credits straight away.I'm thinking if you don't ask you don't get maybe.
  10. We love both versions. In Italy we double fry chicken livers cos we can't get lamb unless we buy half a lamb with it,lol.
  11. Took the tube into town to see the revamped Battersea power station.Impressive building full of trendy bars, restaurants and upmarket shops. Not a place I would eat and drink, bit like a mall food court with no outlook.Got a bus to Langans Brasserie for lunch.Well sort of,M&S food opposite, lol.
