    My Mrs buys Lidl deluxe farmhouse wholemeal seeded loaf for me and the birds.I fancied kippers this morning but she said you can't have any bread I've only got 3 slices left for the birds.I ended up with porridge.Brings a new meaning to "where are you in the pecking order".

    My dad was a postman,he said he was proud of his job and back in the day they were mainly exsoldiers after the war.He didn't like the temps at Christmas cos they got all the tips off his round he'd worked hard at thru the year.Full uniform then,not the scruffy sods you get now,lol.

    Funny enough I did a dummy booking today.LATAM Airlines do flights from LHR with a few changes avoiding Argentina of course,culminating with a 2 hr flight from Punta Arenas to Mount Pleasant.1500 quid one way.Round about 48 hrs with layovers.

    LOL,yeah it was an 8000 mile away gamble.Walking on one of the biggest golden beaches I've been on amongst thousands of penguins.Their summer but bloody cold and windy.

    I used to have a white dj.I would have been terrified eating CTM being the messy sod that I am.Sorry that you missed your port.I remember worrying throughout a cruise that we would miss the Falklands as most ships do.We made it in and was a great experience.

    Got brussel tops with our roast tonight.Love them.we can only get them in Romford market, 3 quid for 2lb,they used to be a lot cheaper than that.We got a 30 day matured 10 oz double reduced fillet steak in Sainsbury for a fiver and a pack of large scallops for 3 quid.Feel a gourmet meal coming on this weekend,lol.

    Walking thru the town this afternoon a large bouncy toy blew off a balcony above the shops.It bounced right in front of a bloke pushing his kid in a pushchair.The kid must have thought it was Christmas again.

    Yeah,ham and egg, would you like to enhance this traditional dish with our luxury oven chips for an extra 2 quid.All joking aside not that long ago on Princess when in Alaskan waters we had King crab legs and wild salmon in the MDR AND the buffet.Local dishes were never extra.

    Back in the 80s I was filling up with "gas" in Miami.The Hispanic attendant didn't have a clue what I was talking about.He said "Hey man don't ya speak English" I said yeah mate I am bloody English.

    We had Ingar Thorhauge on QE.She was waiting for our tour bus with trays of bubbly in Sri Lanka when 3 hrs late,luckily it was a ships tour,lol.

    We have pairs of Hoopoes at certain times of the year in Italy although we didn't see any last year.
