Today we attended the MTG Luncheon. As usual this was the best meal of the cruise and the service was fantastic. All of the senior officers were present but did not sit with the guests. Last month on the Regal the officers sat with the guests at all three of the luncheons we attended.

Current Senior Officer's on the Discovery. DRO Francisco Patricio has gone home, currently replaced by his assistant. Silvio Zampieri will take over as DRO on January 14th.

Their answer was 3,300 +/-

Last year on the New Year's cruise on the Majestic they ran all night. Currently on the Discovery doing the same cruise. I'll let you know in a few days how they handle it for this voyage.

We have made the turn around Cabo San Lucas and are heading for Loreto.

Tonight our granddaughter found a cruise duck in the Piazza. She had fun finding a new hiding place. 🦆

Today we had lunch at the Ocean Terrace Seafood Bar. It was very good for cruise ship sushi. We will definitely have it one more time before we disembark.

The Fitness Center was packed this morning. I had to wait 20 minutes for an elliptical machine. You can really feel the "full ship" feel onboard. In our 90+ sea days since the start-up, this is the most passengers we have had onboard.

The answer is no they cannot. The passenger has to be onboard to purchase FCD's.

Here is the passenger count for this cruise: Blue- 1036 Gold- 624 Ruby- 351 Platinum- 764 Elite- 686 Total= 3,461

We are onboard! We arrived at 12:45 and we were in our cabin 20 minutes later. This is our first time on the Discovery and so far we are impressed by how new and clean the ship looks (it should right?). We had a very nice lunch at Gigi's and then went along with our DD, SIL and 8 yr old granddaughter to register her at the kid's club. We were told that there are 300 passengers under 18 on this voyage. Our luggage was waiting for us upon our return to the cabin. Unpacking...

Pipi's has been our favorite PV restaurant for many, many years. Their margaritas are the best, especially the mango and coconut. That is where we will be having lunch on this trip.

Exactly! We do not attend the shows, so we enjoy a slow paced dinner. And, wine is always a must!
