Agree, our Med and TA Roll Calls for the Regal in Oct/Nov are extremely active.

You should also check out the Roll Call for your cruise, which actually starts Sept 3rd. This will give you info on what passengers on your actual sailing are doing as far as excursions/transportation.

A check of prices today on our booked cruises show that they have all gone up $100 to $200 pp. What a coincidence that the Princess sale starts on Thursday???

That is a smart way to get seasoned cruisers to try them! I was told recently by someone in the cruise "biz" that MSC is planning on deploying ships to the West Coast in the near future.

In the past, we have not found too many lower fares during their "sales" events. I think they use the word "sale" to indicate that the cruises are for sale! 😄😄😄

Did not take any meds. We are vaccinated and boosted. We are getting our 2nd booster in a few weeks.

I tested positive on February 27th, on a b2b cruise, was asymptomatic. Our next cruise sailed on April 3rd and my pre-cruise test was negative.

I think that means you have to make a new booking? If the prices are indeed lower than what we currently have booked (6 cruises for us), then we'll cancel those bookings and rebook. The $1 deposits do not do anything for us, as we have purchased a number of FCD's.

I'm glad we have that cruise checked off our list. We spent 4 days cruising in Antarctica, in January of 2011, aboard the Star Princess. That was a lifetime highlight! Going back to SA next March, Buenos Aires to LA, but no Antarctica.

Just to add, we have cruised on several other cruise lines over the years and IMHO Princess still offers the best bang for your buck.

As ships start sailing with more passengers, onboard upgrades will be a very rare occurrence.

We have been on 6 post-covid cruises on Princess and will continue to sail with them. We love the crew!!!

The whole insurance situation is VERY frustrating! We tested positive on a b2b Emerald cruise on Feb 27th. We filed our AON claim as soon as we returned home (March 5th). We finally received all of our refunds from AON on June 10th (cancelled cruise fare, airline adjustment fees and for time spent in onboard isolation). Princess refunded taxes and port fees back to our credit card. We were advised by AON on May 2nd, that the $100 pp, per day, hotel isolation meal allowance was to be claimed directly from Princess. We did so and to this day we are still waiting for our $1k reimbursement. We were told that it would take 4 to 6 weeks for this to be processed. Claim made at www.princess.com/refund-request

Worst case scenario, call the "Dine Line" on the ship as soon as you board.

Same here, we NEVER leave the ship with any remaining OBC's! There are always great wines by the bottle to spend it on! 🍷

They provide a liquid body wash and shampoo/conditioner via a pump dispenser in the shower. Also, small bar of hand soap. If you are Elite, you "usually" receive some additional items such as hand lotion. Btw, we do not care for any of the provided soaps/shampoos and always bring our own from home.

IMHO the day of no pre-boarding testing for those fully vaccinated is not far away, as well as all b2b testing. I would not be surprised that when they do eliminate the pre-boarding testing, the CDC will require a booster to be "fully" vaccinated.
