  1. We are booked on this 32 day cruise in April of 2024, on the Sapphire. We have done the 28 day cruise to Tahiti and the Samoa's (from LA) several times, but this one also goes to Fiji. It will be our first time going to Fiji.
  2. We have made 9:00 am flights out of FLL on several occasions. But as mentioned above, you are always taking a risk with early flights.
  3. Do you mean US dollars or Canadian? Prices are in US dollars.
  4. On all 6 of our post startup cruises (4 on the Majestic and 2 on the Emerald) we were able to stream Netflix, Hulu and Spectrum Live TV in our stateroom. We used HDMI/USB-C connection via our tablet. Check out the below YouTube video
  5. Yes, Generoso retired during the shut down and is now living in Northern Italy with his wife. He also spends a good part of the year in Thailand.
  6. Wow! This is definitely no bueno! I'm sure they will have these things fixed before we board the Sapphire in March.
  7. They dropped the testing requirement for cruises departing from Athens about a week ago. Greece now aligns with all the EU cruises, no testing required for those that are vaccinated.
  8. Buying or not buying the packages is definitely a personal choice and does not work for everyone. For us it is a big plus. We don't drink martinis like @partybarbie but we do like our wine! 🍷🍷🍷
  9. If you are talking euros, if I'm on your cruise I would buy them from you at a better rate than the ship. We go to Europe almost every year, so we would use them. Check with the roll call for your cruise. You might find a fellow cruiser that would buy them from you.
  10. He is a great guy! He will be a DRO (Maitre'd) for his next contract. Btw, he is heading to the Diamond next for their startup.
  11. On the Majestic, it is in the port side of the Concerto Dining Room, deck 6.
  12. Yes, he was just on the Sapphire helping with the ship restart (he might still be there?). Since the Princess restart, he has been jumping ship to ship helping/training the crew with Medallion issues.

  15. You can never tell beforehand if the "wine/liquor police" will be setup at embarkation. Your worst case scenario is that they take the bottle from you and return it to you on the last night of the cruise. 🍷

  20. After having been on several new ships shortly after they go into service, we will wait at least a year before cruising on the new Sun Princess. This will allow them to work out the issues that all new ships have after going into service.
