We are Celebrity cruisers wanting to make a change. Sun Princess caught my eye. Looks gorgeous. A few questions: Considering mini suite with cabana. Is this a new category or do other ships have it. Trying to find photos and decide if it’s worth it. Does the mini suite come with a designated restaurant or is it MDR? how about children onboard. Please don’t come for me, just asking. This ship looks like it may be a kid magnet so we want to be prepared. We are looking at a 7 night Carribean cruise at the very beginning of November. Thanks so much for any info on Princess and helping us with a decision,

Couldn’t agree more. I love celebrity but they do not do wine well. I am a white wine drinker and Even by the bottle there isn’t much I like. I’d rather be able to bring 4 bottles and pay a corkage fee than only 2.

The extra points showed up at the same time as the regular points.

IMHO there is no comparison as far as the ships are concerned. Infinity is in desperate need of a renovation and the Summit is absolutely gorgeous! But as far as the service, crew, food, etc. infinity has the same amazing Celebrity service!

We always get frozen drinks at the sunset bar.

Did you have any issue with noise? I read on the spreadsheet this cabin is below ocean view cafe.

Our last 2 cruises, February and March, we could do the App portion at our hotel the morning of the cruise. Once we boarded we went directly to the muster station and they checked us in using our express pass. Easy!

So glad you had such a great experience. We love Celebrity. We just got off the Summit and we had the exact same experience! What an absolutely beautiful ship. They did an amazing job when it was revolutionized.

My reservation shows the upgrade available but not with the Elite discount. 😥

Just go in knowing that a 4 night cruise, especially over a holiday, is a very different experience.

On our cruise last month the people on the loungers next to us also had loungers in the shade. This was a full ship. A crew member came over and started to clear their shade chairs if the towels. The man ran over grabbed him by the arm and told him he was making him angry and ruining his vacation, he also told him his children were sitting there. I never saw any children all day long! What a POS.

Thank you for this information. On the FAQs it says day of which wouldn’t work for us. No way would I risk flying into Athens day off!!! Glad they changed it.

Yes we are in Florida but Tampa so flights are expensive! I priced it for this year since I couldn’t see next Fall yet. $2400 each to fly into Athens and out of Rome with somewhat decent flights! Crazy! But I know if I leave it to O they will be terrible flights.

We are new to Oceania and are considering an Athens to Rome cruise in 2024. We are debating including airfare. I see it’s a $1000 credit per person. If the airfare is higher are we charged? How does it work? Also, I was told you can cancel your cruise up to 6 months out and be fully refunded. Is this correct? I had a trip advisor from Oceania contact me. I don’t have a TA so is this the best way to go? Will they be upfront with me? she told me there are quarterly increases and I can lock in The price with a refundable deposit? Thanks so much for help with this. I am not used to not knowing what I’m doing!!
