We had an alcove in February on the silhouette and it no longer included the wine/champagne/bottle of alcohol option. Last year we had it and had a bottle of champagne. We had lunch which we ordered from the room service menu. I’m not sure if water was included or not as we had the premium beverage package.

Summit Martini bar no longer had my favorite Fresca and 25th Anniversary martini on the menu but never had a problem getting one.

Yes. You really can’t compare a ship built in 2007 with the E class ships although I understand that isn’t your only comparison. We are elite on Celebrity but are excited to try the new Sun Princess next year. -
You should receive an email from celebrity whenever you purchase excursions, etc after booking the cruise. I always print those out to take with me. I also print the original invoice that shows everything included in the cruise purchase, such as OBC, drink package, etc.

We were on the Summit in March. It was amazing. Food in the MDR, service everywhere. The ship is gorgeous. Enjoy!

We are thinking of doing this for 4 of us. Are there lounge chairs for 4? The description sounds like only 2 chairs.

I hear you! On our first cruise in RC in 2001 our next door neighbors had a baby who started crying at 5:30 am and didn’t stop. We didn’t cruise again for 12 years! It was that bad. I love children, especially babies, some parents, not so much!!!

Thank you! This information is exactly what I am looking for. It is a refundable deposit which has been non existent on celebrity without a massive up charge so it’s a welcome change especially with a booking more than a year out.

Thanks everyone for all of your information. It is humbling to not know what I’m doing!!! We put a hold on a cabin and it gave me until June 24 to pay the deposit. Do I need to call to do that or can I do that online? I downloaded the app but the booking number isn’t showing up. Also, if I book through Princess can I transfer the cruise to a TA after the payment?

Any thoughts on deck 10 being above the public area? I have no experience with that and am wondering if it would be disruptive in the cabin or with it being a new ship maybe not?

If you have the plus package can you buy a drink or glass of wine that is more expensive and just pay the difference?

I was thinking I should call back and try someone else. No offense to the woman I spoke to but she was truly clueless. Since I am clueless about Princess I definitely need the cruise planner to be experienced!!

Thank you for this information. Sounds like the non- reserve would be the least desirable due to location and no restaurant access. I appreciate this information. It’s amazing how much we take for granted knowing all the ins and outs of booking after being with celebrity for 10 years. I think that’s what makes it hard to switch. So I appreciate everyone giving me a piece of their knowledge!

Thank you! I called Princess and spoke to one of their vacation planners. She couldn’t answer any questions. Really seemed out of her element. I’m a little concerned because all they have available is guarantee cabins. I know those are the leftovers no one wants!!! I may look at a different sailing to see if I can choose the cabin.
