  1. Don’t forget with either package you can bring one bottle per person on board without paying a corkage fee. We do this even with the premium package as we struggle to find a good wine. IMO this has always been a miss for celebrity.
  2. Right?!!! That and covering their mouths when they cough. Saw so much of that on the Beyond last week. People standing over food and coughing. Not a thought to cover their mouths. Disgusting!
  3. Same with us and right or wrong we always get outstanding service. Yes there are gratuities included in the drink package but I am doubtful that server gets it. We like to show our appreciation for the outstanding service we receive and I like the outstanding service!!!
  4. Totally agree! We just got off a SV on Beyond and it was probably the largest veranda cabin we have had. It was a beautiful, quiet location with an amazing balcony and view. My only disappointment was not having a lounger on the balcony. Steward refused citing a passenger hurt themselves once. 🤷🏻‍♀️
  5. Thank you!!! This is what I was hoping for. The gentleman at the future cruise desk was insistent that they had both a shared hallway and a connecting door inside the cabins. I appreciate your detailed response!
  6. Thank you! This sounds great. I’m just not keen on a connected door inside the cabins!
  7. I don’t think you can see it before you book. On a cruise I have booked now the current pricing is $67.99 for classic and $79.99 for premium per person, per day plus 20% gratuities. That is 20% off regular price which is why pricing fluctuates from cruise to cruise. The discounts are not consistent for each cruise. Remember when you are considering a drink package that it includes non alcoholic beverages too. If you book the all-inclusive cruise price that is for the classic package. You can upgrade to the premium. Usually that is $20 per day plus 20% gratuities that also can go on sale.
  8. We were just on the Beyond and we were going to book a suite on the Ascent. The only cabins left showed they were connecting. The person at future cruise told us they have the alcove area outside the room and a connecting door inside. Can anyone who has had one of these cabins confirm? We didn’t book as we didn’t want the inside the cabin connecting door.
  9. I will definitely be asking if they aren’t there! 🤞🤞
  10. We board in 5 days in a SV. I have heard conflicting reports of loungers being allowed on the veranda. Has anyone been on the Beyond in a SV recently that can give recent, first hand info? Really want a lounger!!!
  11. I guess I assumed EST since we have only sailed out of Florida! 🤣
  12. Nice! We will be on Beyond. First time on E class!!
  13. I think anyone linked to your reservation can be checked in by you. In my experience the earlier times do not get taken immediately but I would do it as soon as possible just to be sure. Have a great time! We leave a week from Tuesday and can’t wait to be on the ship!!!
  14. Yes, You are given options of check in times regardless of status, etc. The earliest lately seems to be 11:30. You do not need to enter any other information you can just choose your time. Then You can go back and finish the check in. It will save the info you put in. Once you complete check in your express pass is available. This is needed to board. You can print it out or save it to your Apple wallet. The day before your cruise you will need to complete the health questionnaire which is part of the check in process.
  15. Yes on that date there will be a check in button. Click on that and you will see where to choose your arrival time.
  16. Yes you can. Go to your reservation in the app. Along the too there are 3 icons. click on the profile picture on the right. That will tell you the date you can check in and yes it’s midnight EST. On the day of check in there will be a check in button. You don’t have to do your complete check in at once. I always just do the time of arrival and do the rest later.
  17. Yes all you need is a screenshot. Also be sure to use the highest loyalty membership you have that they accept. My husband is Hilton Diamond level which transferred as a MSC Diamond member.
  18. Thank you. Good to know. Sounds like a trade off of what is important to the cruiser. We sailed out of Port Canaveral on Seaside just to check it out. We were in a deluxe balcony. it was very cramped. I also see the potential for many kids to be on the ship depending on when you sail. We were on Labor Day week so it wasn’t bad. We enjoyed the cruise, especially at the price point. I think we were all in for $2500. But if I did it again it would be YC.
  19. How was the service on MSC YC? What ship were you on?
  20. No. Have printed them in black and white many times.
  21. Thank you! Everything I wanted to hear!
  22. We are looking at a transatlantic cruise on Apex. We want a traditional balcony but retreat is out of our price range. The only SV left is 12262. It is a connecting room under the OVB. I’d love some feedback on noise and if the room connects inside or outside. TIA!
  23. We were able to get 6:30 reservations when we boarded the summit by going to the anytime dining room. There was someone at the hostess stand helping people. It’s all about what is available but you can also just show up at the time you want and may have to wait just a few minute.
