Any chance you could do a B2B on reflection? The 5 night plus a 3 night before or after? Not sure if it works with your dates but I know reflection is doing a lot of short cruises.

Someone just posted on FB that they received an email that the 2/18 sailing is cancelled. I feel terrible for people who were booked. Not much notice.

It is worth a call to Celebrity or your TA, however you booked. And of course the insurance company you used. I am very sorry you are dealing with this. I hope you are able to work something out with Celebrity.

I doubt it. The balcony furniture is very different and not in a good way IMO.

Cigarette smoke from deck 5

Thank you so much!! I’m sorry I didn’t make it clear, one of the smoking areas is starboard deck 5 so I wasn’t sure if that would be an issue!

We are looking at booking this cabin on Equinox which I think has the exact same cabins. Was it obstructed at all and any issues with smelling smoke? Thanks so much for any info.

We were on Beyond in January with anytime dining. I made reservations in the different dining rooms, with some duplicates, every night. Many people here said the reservations aren’t honored. Not true. We spoke with the hostess at the first dining room we went to and she said if you have a reservation they hold a table for you for up to 15 minutes after the reserved time. Which is what happened for us.

It truly is. Are we 5 years old!! This might be a deal breaker for us. We sailed Beyond in January in an SV. We were looking forward to spending a lot of time on loungers on our balcony as we knew it would be a very full ship, which it was. Nope. Was told no loungers safety issue and the chairs they have on those balconies are terrible. What is Celebrity doing!!!

Sorry but that’s ridiculous. Safety reasons! I’ll sign a waiver. I can manage to maneuver around my balcony safely!!

The cruise is to the Italian Riviera and France on the Equinox. 9 night. I spoke to my TA. They can do not have any group pricing at this time but will add $525 OBC. He also said Celebrity might be offering OBC starting Thursday but will May also raise the price so it would be a wash. He also said if I had to cancel I can move the deposit, less $200, to another cruise which wouldn’t be a problem. I Alan always booking something! I’m not sure what’s holding me back!!

Same for us. We book well in advance but I think this is the first $900 deposit I’ve put down. Although from what I’ve read I can transfer that to another booking less $200. Thank you for your thoughts.

That’s what I was thinking too. And I’m ok with losing $200 if we cancel but not $900. No, I’m not 100% sure of the OBC amount. I do know that you get “up to” $500. Last information I could find had $150.

We are interested in a Fall 2025 cruise in Europe. First time doing one in Europe. Since it’s more than 1 1/2 years away a lot can happen. Here is the dilemma. The price is good, IMO, $5300 for Aqua Class w/o perks. The problem is the NRD is $900. We are cruising in May so if I wait and book it on the ship my understanding is the deposit would be $100 pp and a $150 OBC. So should I wait and hope the price doesn’t go up or book it now and chance losing the deposit?

We are flying into Rome and staying in Rome a few days before the cruise. Is it necessary to get to the port and spend the night there the day before departure or will we have plenty of time to get to the port the same day?
