We have a 4 night cruise booked next year and would like to add on to it to make it a 7 night. Can I just book the next cruise to make it a B2B or do I need to call?

If you prefer a traditional balcony on Celebrity E class ships, the sunset verandas are the only cabins that have them other than suites. I can’t comment on them yet, we are doing our first E class cruise on beyond in January. also, as far as drink package prices, there is usually a 20% off sale and sometimes more when they have flash sales.

Wow $1000 per person is a lot. I’d book the IV and then see about a move up bid to a suite for a regular balcony. I realize it might be more than the $2000 but you’d get more too.

We love the Summit and think the ship is gorgeous after being revolutionized. One of our favorites!

You could just have the porter at the pier tag them.

Thanks so much for the review. We love Celebrity but I would have been more than BS to deal with your dinner and excursion issues! Nothing I hate more than spending half my vacation working out issues. So glad you had a good time regardless.

Uggh! So disappointing! One of the reasons we booked SV on Beyond in January. I see a move up bid in our future!!!

Our experience last week, although we were not in YC, was that the drinks in general were priced much cheaper than Celebrity. We saw almost nothing over $16. And this was a Carribean cruise.

He’s very lucky. I’m glad it all turned out ok.

Having done this cruise a few times I think the beaches in Aruba and grand cayman are the best out of the 4. I am not sure what is open on Grand Cayman as many places closed permanently during Covid. We enjoyed the beach at the Marriott hotel in Aruba last year.

We just got off Seaside after a 7 night cruise. Our first with MSC. We were assigned 5:15 dining which was too early for us. Our reservation was linked with another couple. As soon as we boarded we went to the business center area and asked to change to 7:15 which was no problem at all. There was quite a line behind us so I am not sure if everyone was able to change times. We were assigned a table for just the 4 of us which is what we wanted.

I just wanted to come back and say thank you to everyone that replied. We are on the last day of the cruise and had a wonderful time. I am so happy we didn’t switch cabins. Apparently the hot tub was not working so we didn’t have anyone in that cabin!!! We thought the food was on par, and sometimes better than Celebrity MDR. Butcher Cut was amazing. We were lucky to have our Diamond status matched so our dinner there was one of the diamond member perks. We wouldn’t hesitate to sail MSC again although I would be careful about sailing during a school vacation. There were not too many children on the ship but unfortunately the people at the table next to us at the MDR had 2 small children that they let run wild. I could see that this ship could be crazy during school vacation. we plan to try YC next time. Looking forward to that!

Thank you! That’s what I’m thinking too. Just needed reassurance!! The first cruise we went on way back when we had a 5 month old baby next door that started crying at 5 am every morning and didn’t stop. I still think I have PTSD from that 🤣

Another question for all of you that were kind enough to reply earlier. We booked cabin 14198 on Seaside for this Sunday 9/3. I just realized this cabin has a hot tub in the deck and can accommodate 5 people. I don’t want to be next to a party room but I’m fine with some additional noise. Should I switch cabins? I am a seasoned cruiser, but not on MSC so I don’t know the demographics of passengers, are they crazy partners, etc.. I also realize I could switch and that cabin could be a sh**t show! Uggh!!!

If you are linked with another cabin can one of us reserve for all of us?

I haven’t seen this myself but people in other groups are reporting it’s been fixed. Hoping that’s true for everyone!

Could you share where this hidden area is to request a dining change? Just in case we need it.

I had to do this with our anytime dining reservation in Beyond but there was no charge for that. When I went under the reservation in cruise planner it allowed me to edit it and cancel the other couple but keep the reservation for us. Not sure if specialty restaurants work the same way.

I would love this!!! But we are in a 7 night so doubtful! IMHO they should open this up to everyone who wants it.

Definitely. They are not going to check id at the door. As long as your friend doesn’t also use the AC benefits I don’t feel you are scamming anyone. You have 2 cabins comped which celebrity allows you to bring a guest. It shouldn’t matter which guest is in which cabin, etc.
