Celebrity has Anytime Dining and you don’t have to pay an additional $400/per person to get it. I really don’t understand why that wouldn’t be available to everyone or at the very least be able to choose your dining time when you book. But that’s just me.

We’ve always known our dining times with Celebrity when we booked. Plus, Anytime Dining is available to everyone. Regardless, that is Celebrity and this is MSC and we were aware if this going in. I just think IMHO it is a flawed system making more work for the crew with all the change requests.

Yes it’s definitely a crap shoot and honestly a huge drawback in my opinion but it is what it is. It certainly won’t dictate my cruise. If the dining time doesn’t fit our schedule we will do specialty dining. I’m sure we will make it work. I appreciate all the information. I honestly would have been blindsided by this as I never would have thought your dining time wouldn’t be determined until boarding.

Thank you for the clarification. I am being told conflicting things. Some say the 5:30-7:30 seating has an arrival of 5:30 and you are done at 7:30. Others are stating you get a specific time within that time frame which is better as I am hoping for at least 6:00 at the earliest.

My options when booking are 5:30-7:30 or 9:30. Does the 9:30 time mean to arrive at 9:30 or be done by 9:30? I feel like such a ditz to be so confused about dining times! 🤣

We having been cruising for some time but first time MSC. I have a few questions. it gives me a range for dining time: 5:00-7:30. Does that mean we show up between those times or will we be assigned a specific time? Worried about getting 5:00!!! Does the plus package covered drinks up to a specific dollar amount? we are booking a balcony cabin. I was looking at 14198. Any input? anything else I should know? thanks so much for your help. We are looking to book a September cruise so we have to move quickly.

We had an alcove in February on the silhouette and it no longer included the wine/champagne/bottle of alcohol option. Last year we had it and had a bottle of champagne. We had lunch which we ordered from the room service menu. I’m not sure if water was included or not as we had the premium beverage package.

Summit Martini bar no longer had my favorite Fresca and 25th Anniversary martini on the menu but never had a problem getting one.

Yes. You really can’t compare a ship built in 2007 with the E class ships although I understand that isn’t your only comparison. We are elite on Celebrity but are excited to try the new Sun Princess next year.
