Elton John has had the best idea, sending in a video rather than turning up in person (although I believe he may not be very well).

A lot can happen within a year so it seems prudent for P&O to leave it nearer to departure date. People already complain if excursions are cancelled or changed (understandably). Whatever they do, it seems as though they are not going to please everybody.

I guess it depends on whether or not the driver is confident at reverse parking 🥴

Had they played the first half like they played the second it could have been different. I don’t think Forest will stay long in the PL without considerable investment. As a Stoke City season ticket holder, I wouldn’t mind Sorba Thomas swapping his blue and white for red and white. He certainly impressed me when they visited the Bet 365 Staduim.

Shuttle buses are free on P&O as a benefit for those who pay the ‘select’ fare rather than either of the cheaper ‘saver’ fares. In many ports, they are not necessary.

But the limited capacity of Limelight means fewer people would get to see him. Personally, I think that spending £10 for the chance of a ticket gives a high probability that they will be successful. I would be interested to find out after the event how many people had no interest in paying to see him. Don’t forget, apart from new bookings, nobody booked the cruise expecting Gary Barlow to be performing so the demand may not be so great.

I agree. The coach ride up an down is scenic but not for the faint hearted but on a clear day the views are spectacular. There may even be some snow on the top of the mountain, even in summer.

Geiranger is beautiful but there is not a lot to do there. The little church up the hill is nice, the walk alongside the waterfall is worth doing if you can cope with the uphill / downhill walking and there is the fjord centre further up the hill. The gift shop sells the same sort of tourist items as elsewhere in Norway and there is a place to buy coffee. I guess that private tours may be few and far between because they are likely to be used by any other ships or relocate to Hellesylt for Iona. If you like sitting outdoors in a beautiful, peaceful place, Geiranger is an ideal place to be, if you want activity, you may be disappointed. I have not stopped in Hellesylt, but having sailed past it, it seems to be little different from Geiranger.
