  1. RNB back late today. Tendered started at HMC at 7:15 AM so up early to go ashore. Very cool this AM, 67 degrees with highs in mid 70’s. Water temp was much warmer!
  2. Wow, what a horrible name for a drink. It’s bad enough for these aliens to perform probes but too add secretions! 😳😬😳😬. Summer slope, you must thought it also bad since you misspelled cocktial!
  3. Thanks for the Fleet Update and General Info from all contributors! RNB almost live from the beautiful and elegant N. Statendam after the orange party last nite. Speaking of orange great sun rise few minutes ago with a bright orange sun!
  4. RedneckBob back at ship. Went ashore in Amber Cove early and did the zip line. Didn’t realize it was rated two underwear zipper line so I had to go back to ship for a replacement. 😳
  5. Thanks for the Fleet Update and General Info from all contributors! RNB still reporting live from the beautiful and elegant N. Statendam. Last week yours truly was on the not so beautiful and not so elegant Celebrity Reflection; just kidding. I called it my Deja vu cruise. Two things happened on that cruise that also happened years ago. First, I was very lucky to escort three ladies on this cruise as I had done seven times before. On the third nite at dinner in the MDR a lady sitting at a table for two with her husband next to us looked at me and said, “Mr. RedneckBob”, by day three everyone knew who I was, “You are a lucky man. How are you able to dine with three beautiful women every nite in the MDR.” I replied, “Money”! Same question was asked of me seven years ago by the Restaurant Manager in the Tuscan Grill on Celebrity Equinox. Second, while leaving Tortola last week and while on our balcony, the ship’s horn suddenly blew six times. I knew what that meant. I looked forward and a small fishing boat passed across the bow of the ship less that 100 feet away. Same thing happened 20 years ago on HAL as we were sailing into Tortola. A small sailboat cut in front of the ship. I was standing on the bow, looked at the bridge and could see the Captain give a one finger salute to the sailboat. Still having a good day in paradise. Amber Cove today. Will go looking for amber but don’t think I will find any. RNB out!
  6. Thanks. Just got from my snorkeling by boat tour. Beautiful day. Snorkeling and coral just ok. I give a 3.5 out of 10. Most of coral is bleached. I’m guess I jaded from snorkeling at Bonaire and the South Pacific.
  7. I hope you shared your coffee with those people by the water! 😀😀
  8. Thanks for the Fleet Update and General Info from all contributors! RNB reports again on another great day at sea, heading for Grand Turks this 8 am for the ultimate snorkeling adventure. Well last nite I had a surprise. Got to the cabin, went to the bathroom to do my business and suddenly the lights went out. Total darkness. I forgot these new dam ships require a key in a slot by the door to keep the lights on. Sorry for the pun, but that was a crapper! Also went to Pinnacle Grill for lunch yesterday and the PG was only 25% full! I guess with +400 kids on board there prefer to run around ship, splash in pools and yell all night in lieu of having lunch in the PG. But who I am I too judge. Well, that’s all for now. Tomorrow my Celebrity Deja vu cruise from last week. RNB out. PS: We we’re not alone!
  9. Cocktail Hooker, as summer slope says, and I quote, perfect drink to elevate any gathering”. Could not have said it any better! 😀
  10. Wow, just saw the news. Terrible to see another ship hit a major bridge. I was driving to work on May 9, 1980 over the Howard Franklin Bridge into St Petersburg the morning of the ship hitting the Skyway Bridge. It was a terrible thunderstorm that morning with zero visibility. When the bridge collapsed oncoming cars including a Greyhound Bus could not see it due to the heavy rain.
  11. Thanks for the Fleet Update and General Info from all contributors. This is RedneckBob reporting live from the beautiful and elegant N. Statendam. Currently sailing in open rough waters to Grand Turk. Great cruise so far. Turned in laundry yesterday at 9 AM and returned at 5 PM. Ordered made to order pizza at Noon and available at 5:30 PM . What, laundry just as fast a pizza? Met a nice man from Holland yesterday. I told him love your Edam cheese. Asked him when is HAL going to name a ship the Edamdam. I guess there are too many dams in the name. Then I told him a joke I just came up with. What did one cannabal say to the other cannabal in Holland? Answer: wait for it, It’s Gouda to Edam! 😀 Well, got to get back to work. I am on a new diet / exercise problem where I am walking every deck starting on Deck 1 until I get to the Lido on Deck 9, then I proceed to exercise my month eating several donuts; actually fruit and cereal! RNB out for the day!
  12. Ok, thanks for the many pictures. Now I have to decide which one to blow up and put over the fireplace!
  13. Don’t know. Captain just gave long speech about departure and barely could hear him.
  14. NS maybe leaving late. If so my wave will be from Tamarand!
  15. Thanks for the heads up. I was wondering what time I depart. Hopefully in time for the big wave from deck 7, diagonal balcony
  16. Ms. Crystal. Thanks. This is RedneckBob reporting live from our stateroom aboard the beautiful and elegant N. Statendam. Wi-Fi works!!!!
