Just did a Side by Side, 4 days on Liberty and 7 on Mardi Gras. DH & I, each took our usual carry-on and a small tote bag each. Ever since Formal night became Cruise Elegant night, it's been easy for us. Doing a B2B, 14 + 7 days in January. We're turning Diamond on that one, so unlimited free laundry. Carry-ons as usual.

Has anyone asked John Heald on his Facebook page?

Sunflower, I just found it.

I didn't realize that there was a thread about this already. We're B2B2B, January 2024. Wanted to make a cabin change and saw the ship vanished. Complicating the issue for us is a Side by Side on Allure before the 3 Vistas. Flying from Detroit for these.
-
Sunshower, was it a thread on CC? I've exhausted all of my usual sites and came up empty.
-
Thanks, is this posted anywhere? I'd like to read about it before I chat with my PVP. Also we have an Allure of the Seas prior to the 3 Vistas we are booked on. Planned to fly to Orlando from Detroit for the 4 cruises. Miami doesn't work for us.

We are booked on the Vista for a B2B2B, January 2024. Thinking of changing our cabins. Went to the Carnival website and Vista is missing from All January 2024 sailings. I doubt that all the sailings are Sold Out. Any ideas?

We just did a side by side on the Liberty & Mardi Gras. I always order the 12 Hour French Toast. It was awful! It was like white bread floating in a plate of oil. Yes I did talk to the MDR desk about it. Guess I'll be saving a lot of calories from now on.

Carnival Platinum Match Status On MSC

Don't know if you've been on the MG. We got off 1 week ago & we used the Nassau day to explore that fabulous ship! -
The Macarons are the same as they used to have at Afternoon Tea.
-
No, the macarons are Gluten Free, these are not. They have subbed them for Macarons when I asked for GF cookies.
-
They are small pink/red filled sandwich cookies. Don't remember seeing them on the buffet.
-
And the cookies taste like cardboard, no thanks. Hubby is Gluten Free & doesn't eat chocolate. I don't eat berries. We ask for some Gluten Free cookies & get it...sometimes. Whatever, it's all good. Happy to be cruising!

About to take our 4th & 5th cruises since the restart. I drink their coffee with milk and sugar. Tastes fine to me!
-
I bring my Tervis Coffee cup, that was the Platinum gift years ago. Buffet coffee works for me.
-
I have 7 more Carnival cruises booked. I think I will be able to make a door mat from all of them!
-
In addition to the Strawberries, 2-3 chocolate truffle-like candies & 3-4 strawberry colored cookies.
-
Whether you stay on board or get off, the price is $40.
-
Sorry for the error. I thought it was good news. We took our family to Bermuda in June and I spent $360 for the 9 of us. Won't be returning any time soon. I'll rewatch the Cruise news video and see what I misunderstood.

Just heard on Cruise Radio News, Bermuda is lifting their Protocols beginning August 22.

Carnival Freedom Doing Transatlantics Fall 2023
leen50 replied to maryann2's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
On 2 of our TA'S we stayed in Charm Suites apartment hotel. They have 2 buildings around the corner from each other. The office is in the Parallel building and the one we stayed in was on Nou Rambla. We had a 1 bedroom, living room, full equipped kitchen and large bathroom, tiny outdoor space on the top floor. Great location, close to everything but not in a rowdy area - at least the Nou Rambla location. Of course everything may have changed since the pandemic. -
Having done 5 Transatlantics, I would think it would be nice to walk on Terra Firma for a while. It doesn't cost anything & you've already paid just to dock there.

We will be doing a B2B from Baltimore in January 2023 & a B2B2B from Port Canaveral the following year. Wennfred suggested keeping the extras in your car. We are flying in. I'll just print out the policy as many have done.
-
Good to know. We have 1 B2B and 1 B2B2B, from Baltimore & Port Canaveral coming up. I'll print out the info from their website when I find it.
