  1. And bonus: Local AT&T calling at each port! 🙂
  2. Exactly this and exactly what we do. 🙂 ^^ We love using our passport cards as government issued photo idea. Slips into my pocket with my sea pass card. Very convenient.
  3. As I already mentioned in my post: "To each their own".
  4. Great photos again Teeara. Looks like you had fun! We took a tour up into the mountain town near the volcanos, that included a visit to the factory, museum, and store of that Jade outlet while there on Serenade. It was really fascinating! We were Amazed how large that shopping area is! Really did not need a tour at that port with that being there, and we never had enough time to really spend there due to our long tour day. We did however have to walk all the way through there to get to our tour bus. That is when I was pick pocketed. 😮 Fortunately I only put a few dollars in my back pocket (12 bucks that time) with the bigger bills, my passport card, credit card, sea pass card in my front button down pockets. I never felt the pickpocket...they were that good. I have that habit of doing it that way, assuming the pick pocket will think that is all I had and leave. It worked...still out 12 bucks...but could have been worse.
  5. As a suite guest in a GS on ships that have a Coastal Kitchen/SL combo they indeed man the bar for drinks 11-11. Beer (but they have downgraded that choice now to cheap domestic), wine (also downgraded) and sodas are complimentary to you during that time. The full cocktails are also complimentary, but only from 5-8 during the scheduled happy hour (some times vary on different ships). I have used my vouchers by choice when I wanted a higher grade wine or beer not during happy hour. But like many of us...do be sure (keep track of it) that they don't charge your vouchers during those complimentary times. It has happened to us, many times. Sometimes the concierge will insist on changing out your D+ card to a different color suite's card to alert the bartender to use your suite's perk, not your vouchers. Or simply make sure you let them know not to charge your vouchers during that time.
  6. Actually kind of cool to do so...feels like we are really going at that point. Part of the fun of preparing. 😉
  7. Agree....booking a B2B is no different than booking a single cruise, of which I do myself. Have done B2B and more several times. Like others, I just be sure to pair up the same cabins, as to avoid a move. I love being already unpacked on TAD. 🙂
  8. Totally agree. Two tags per bag. Learned the hard way years ago! 😮 IMHO...I love my reusable plastic sleeve tags I buy from Amazon, and like you...use those indestructible zip ties. 🙂 I also just reload them with my disembarkation tags when it is time to leave.
  9. Some of us like the convenience of already being prepared. One less thing to do at bag check in, which can be crazy at times. I am not a fan of the "porter scribble" either. But to each their own.
  10. Are you still getting in with the same password? I am afraid to check! 😨
  11. They don't do it on Viking either. And in fact I booked two separate cruises, one day apart, different ships (and had to pay for my overnight hotel in Sydney)....but Viking decided to add the two together as a Grand Tour. Must be good for them...but did not do me any favors. 😮
  12. IT at RCI.... having fun with us. Can you hear them giggling in the background? 😄
  13. I simply changed my password. Took 30 seconds...and still good to go. But now I may have just jinks myself! 😮
  14. You are most welcome! Enjoy your cruise!! 🙂
  15. Won't miss Tap Factory either. Interesting show...once...but way too loud. I am seeing more and more of the "guest" and RCL entertainers taking over where there used to be Broadway type shows...IMHO...for the obvious reason...... it is cheaper. And RCI does like cost cutting. 😄 However, I do love the ice show on Wonder. 🙂
  16. No, only in Coastal Kitchen, and the lounge/bar area. If indeed you are dining in Coastal kitchen at a table...lunch, dinner...or even breakfast....it is complimentary and can be served at your table. Just ask your waiter, sit back and enjoy! 🙂
  17. Enough OK? I told you I over reacted...which is a result of being ingrained from indeed so much Pinnacle bashing. It's a fact indeed that goes on. That poster already realized they assumed (and obviously I get that a lot ) that I was not in a suite because of the mention of vouchers being used. They obviously did not read the whole thread as we were talking about being in a GS (as the title of this thread is)...but still being charged on our C&A vouchers, including the Diamond I was discussing this with. Many of us have been wrongly charged on our vouchers while in suite. Do you get it now?
  18. LOL....no one would like us right now. Trying to finally get the remodel done on the newly added laundry room. And as always all remodel jobs go very smoothly......grrrrr....NOT! OK...I need an SB right now!! 😄 Or better yet...hop over and join Rewind on the Vision! 😉 😄
  19. You are most welcome....enjoy your cruise and that beautiful GS!! 🙂
  20. Only at the bar, lounge and your table in CK. Not other venues. The poster I quoted is a GS guest and wanted to know if they could have happy drinks served at their table in CK. Which of course they can. This was their post. Quite spelled out. Again...please reread this entire thread for your information. I've asked this before, but I'm still a little confused. If we are a suite and having dinner in Coastal Kitchen, can I order a cocktail from the dining room table and have it charged to our suite perks? Or do I have to go to the bar and order there and bring it with me. (I know it's one big room). We are Diamond.
  21. Assuming... You could have asked. If you were to read this entire thread, you would find out I am not alone...many suite's guests with C&A vouchers have been charged wrongly.
  22. Your comment to me, quoting me directly was a bit confusing, and felt like finger pointing to me. Perhaps would have been better as a separate comment stating the obvious? The gist of the conversation on this thread was being (as the thread title shows) in a GS and getting charged for drinks on C&A vouchers during stated SL happy hour complimentary drinks. Which is not right, and has happened to me most of the time. Yes, you can be wrongly charged on your C&A vouchers when you (as I am) are a suite's guest. Please go back and read the rest of this thread. I was helping out with answers to several of the other posters. Also, just to inform you as to your other comment. Yes, as suite guests we can have the complimentary happy hour drinks served during the 5-8 time frame during dinner...at our table. We have enjoyed that many times. I was reassuring the poster that I was quoting that they could have that. But you wanted written proof. I suggest you consult the SL concierge letter and/or confirm that with the staff in CK.
  23. Welcome to my neighborhood! I "sea" you over there. Enjoy your time in my home port. Big sister Allure just to your east is my next visit...3 weeks from now. I still adore the Vision class and Radiance as favorites though!
