I think your link is out of date. I believe requirement for proof of vaccination was lifted on 22 July, 2023. Although we take our proof of vax withnus when we travel.... just in case.

And I'm curious why you think the complaint about slamming doors has ruined somebody's vacation. I haven't seen that sentiment expressed in the discussion. Slamming doors, at least from my perspective, are intrusive, annoying and disruptive. I understand it's going to happen from time to time; it would be considerate of people to try to keep it from happening on a regular basis.

That's good you did not have a problem. It's irrelevant whether you got off the ship in Canada; the problem would have arisen when the ship cleared Canadian immigration.
